  1. Here by popular demand.... Check out this blue anodized Hawg Handle on a Daiwa Zillion Coastal mounted to a Dobyns Champion rod. Take note of the blue accents on the handle, reel and rod. We've got a limited supply of these blue handles. Send me an IM if you are interested in reserving one. Mike
  2. Good luck, Glades. I hope everything works out well for you in Nevada.
  3. I used to golf twice a week (average) and fish four times a year. Now I fish twice a week (average) and golf four times a year. My golf game is the best it has ever been, so I guess I found the right mix.
  4. Good job Bruce.
  5. Kickerfish1, I am currently doing all those colors, as well as a couple others. See the following website...I can exactly produce all these colors. http://www.nautilusreels.com/custom-shop/custom-colors2 Mike
  6. Grantman, I am making some blue parts right now. Robert has a Zillion Coastal...we will certainly be taking some pictures, soon! If you are interested in ordering a colored handle or in purchasing some colored parts, send me an email at support@hawgtech.com Mike
  7. I got a chance to fish this reel, Friday night. The retrieve on this thing is just sick....fast and smooth. I need one... Of course, it might have helped that we upgraded the handle a little bit...
  8. Chuck, I'm glad our handle is working out for you. I get many comments saying how our product has helped people reduce fatigue and enjoy their fishing more. That's what it's all about for me. Those comments are what motivate us to do this.
  9. mtaag, We fit 99.9% of baitcast reels....there is one Pfluegar with an oddball crankshaft size that we do not fit. For colors, right now we have silver (accents)/silver (nut retainer), silver/black and red/red (seen in the picture here). More colors coming soon!
  10. These handles are "red hot" and going fast. Only five left...if you want one, don't wait. Thank you, BR members, for all the positive response we've received. I think you'll really like what we have in store over the next year. Mike
  11. That is definitely a snakehead. They are good eating, but I would limit how much you consume. Especially if it came from a residential canal.
  12. It was pretty tough. Just about everyone caught about half of what they were on... including me/Jack...we caught 9lb. I had a 5lb come off which would have helped by a few lbs. First place~24lb, one other team over 20.fifth place (last in the money) caught 16lb.
  13. We're going to do up some gold handles very soon. Should look killer on the Calcutta, Chronarch SF, Metatanium, etc... If you guys have a color scheme you would like to see, just post it here. I can do most any color if I get a little bit of demand for it. Mike
  14. I've been getting a few requests for these and finally got to put a few together. Should have the gold version ready in a week or so... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=499792893389951&set=a.400118190024089.76626.400113070024601&type=1&theater Mike
  15. Good to see you posting, Bruce. I have a feeling you and Mike are going to be tearing it up over the next couple months. I think I've got a little something figured out now. Hopefully this weather doesn't screw it up. We're about to get pounded by several inches of rain. Sounds like they might get 5inches @ Okeechobee. Hopefully they don't push too much of that water down here before Sunday.
  16. I hear ya Rob. I'll be donating as well. I am a sponsor for the KOTG, though...it's what I do! Should be a fun tourney. Fishing is really good there right now....there will be some big bags coming in.
  17. I'm going out Friday afternoon with my partner Jack (shallow thinker). I found some big fish on beds Saturday (several 5s and one about 7-8lb), but the moon was Friday and those fish are surely long gone. I think we're on 13-16lbs unless we figure something out Friday.
  18. Who is going to King Of The Glades qualifier #4 this weekend? It's at Holiday Park this month and the fishing is really outstanding there right now. I went out Friday/Saturday and caught a few fish (~15lbs both days) but did not find nearly the kind of fish I needed to. There are several guys who are on twice that weight. I know one guy who is going out every day catching 30+ pounds. What are your pre-fishing plans and what kind of fish are you on?
  19. Ha ha...good stuff. Not to spoil the surprise too much, but I will be putting together the first red anodized Hawg Handles this Wednesday. Gonna make a few "limited edition" handles with the aluminum pieces (carrier, retainer, end cap, spindle) all anodized red. You are on the list for some red anodized caps and I should be able to get those out to you Thursday. Congrats again, Paul.
  20. Congratulations, Paul M (Bass Resource member: Slonezp)! He is the winner of the "Hawged Out" Shimano Cardiff reel, with hydrodipped housings and Hawg Handle. He helped his odds in this contest, ordering three handles during the month of March. Congratulations, Paul! I know you will love this reel as much as I do (did...) Mike
  21. Firing up the random number generator....
  22. I will do the drawing for the Cardiff right here on this thread...April 1st, 8:00PM EST. Good luck!
  23. Still have a few more days left on our "Hawged Out" Cardiff giveaway. Many of you BR members have ordered Hawg Handles during the month of March....Robert and I thank you for that. Those of you who have ordered...I just sent an email to you confirming that you are entered in the contest. You receive one entry for each Hawg Handle purchased, so those who have purchased multiple handles have an excellent chance in winning this one-of-a-kind reel. The contest is still open a couple more days if you would like to put the odds a little further in your favor. Those who haven't purchased yet or who are on the fence thinking about it...now would be an excellent time to upgrade your handle (and maybe your reel as well!) before the Spring fishing kicks in full gear. Thanks! Mike
