Ok I'm guessing the nobody has ever fished Ft Stewart then. I'll tell you what....I'm going down there either this weekend or the next to see how the fishing is. When I find out I will get on here and tell everyone how it is.

I really do love this boat. I've noticed the wind being a huge factor in keeping this boat steady though. But it still got me off the bank and I'm loving it. I'm thinking of buying the portable fish finder for it. Does anyone have any recommendations on that?

Hello everyone. I'm planning to go fishing at a new place this weekend and i have acquired a map of the lake. I am trying to locate the underwater points on the map using the contour lines. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what i should be looking for? I've never read a lake map before.

Definitely read the fishing articles. They helped me out tremendously. This forum also helped me tremendously and still does on a daily basis. Definitely be ready for the addiction to consume you!!...because it is bound to happen!!

That is horrible. That person will get what's coming to them. There are plenty of places out there that will take dogs in. There is no sense for cruelty toward animals. I just saw on the news that someone shot a horse between the eyes from a close distance. What is this world coming to?

Well the fish was caught but a lot more needs to be done in order for this fish to claim the title as World's Largest Bass!!

Some of my favs are: Zoom Finesse worms or shakyhead worms. Color: watermelon seed Strike King 10" Anaconda. Color: Pumpkinseed or red june bug Chrome and blue Rat L trap I'm a big worm guy and i'm not too familiar with crankbaits...most of the time i get a bright colored one and get it medium diving. Hope this helps because trust me i know it can be overwhelming looking at all that stuff. I normally have my cell phone ready to call my cousin....lol.

Welcome! This is a great site for the inexperienced bass fisherman. This place will have an answer for every single one of your questions. I'm from Kings Mountain, NC but just recently moved to Beaufort, SC. Still trying to get used to it down here but there are plenty of spots in Western NC for bassin'. Just keep your eyes and ears open and you'll find em. Also just keep looking on this website and trying new things out and you will get better with time. It takes time so be patient.
