  1. b bro i feel you there i lost so many fish this year on that junk its a joke i am done using it i list a few jigs and cranks on it and not to mention a few good fish finally i got fed up with it stripped it of my reel and spooled up with something better.
  2. on saturday me and a buddy caught 16 bass i caught 9 and he caught 7 the bite was actually slow i am guessing the water temps to be around low 50s right now we were catching them on rooster tails lol.. the biggest was a little under two pounds. i also caught a big channel on the rooster tail and he was 11 lbs 11 ounces it was fun
  3. Sometimes i fish for sauger and hybrid stripers below the dams in kentucky.. you guys that have fished for these fish before what are your best producing baits?? thanks.
  4. yeah i have two of the rick clunns i use them for lipless cranks and one for mid to deep cranks. i love them for the price they are very smooth and well put together reels.
  5. idk really its in a subdivision i was told by someone that it was an old strip pit but im really not for sure.. i have fished tenoroc strip pits if you are fimiliar with those??
  6. ill be down in florida during the Christmas break time. i have fished down there before this time of year and done decent. i will be fishing some neighborhood ponds that i have seen give up some big fish. one is a old strip mine pit that is pretty deep from wat i can tell and very very clear. the other one is fairly shallow again from what i can tell and more stained. i am bank bound. i am wondering what is the best way to target bass during the winter in florida when fishing the bank?? thanks for any info.

  8. kevin short used 17 lb mono on the mississippi river tourney when he was shallow cranking to keep his crank from banging the bottm ans pulling up muck he wanted it to band in the wood.

  12. nice fish and congrats to you both but i do question the size?????? 2lbs and 18- 20 in i believe the two pounds but no way 18- 20 in most fish that big are around 3- 4 lbs
  13. b yea i no. thank you. i can live with 3 pounders. beats those lil guys ive been getting from my spot. i just thought it felt heavier than 3.5 but i no one thing for sure im in love with those hula poppers now. the one i was using this hula popper yeah i caught a decent one the other morning it was 17 in 3.2 lb.. not too bad..i am going fishing again in the morning.

  15. i am surprised of all the negatives i like these rods especially for 30 dollars.. i would highly recomend it for starting out.

  18. This is a fairly cheap rod and i have one that is a 7' MH/ fast rod paried with a rick clunn signiture series reel that has a 5.4:1 ratio.. guys out there that have the crankin stick do you find my set- up to be well enough equipped to handle dd22's, fat-free shads, etc.. thanks in advance.

  20. bb where at in western, KY are you fishing?? are you fishing the strip mine pits located on the PEABODY WMA??
  21. bbb do you spool the backing and then tape it off and then spool your main line or do you connect your line to the backing with some type of knot?? thanks.
