Yeah, I think simply communication is key. Hopefully they will talk with you. I am sure they will since they always have a co-angler with them anyways.

So 20 dollars is enough to offer minimum? And are we providing money for the entire tournament, or just every day before hand? Also how do you think your pro's over the years have treated you? I'm young and from the west coast (not that has any bearing) but hey you don't know. I only say this because I know most of you are from the East and midwest. But what am I talking about I grew up in jersey. I think I'll be ok I will be fishing the FLW Outdoor series this year just a few East Coast events, any advice from experience is appreciated. Also my big question is how big of a tackle bag do you bring? Like 4-5 3600-3700 boxes?

Well I know, I mean overall they still have the "same" goal. And I know a lot of people do not like when companies sell out to the big man, in this case ESPN. But the sport has grown a lot. But at the same time taken a lot of attention away from FLW.

I think it is truly amazing how much we all have depended on the internet these days. But I really do appreciate it because I get opinions and advice from all over the country.

I like the Abu Revo sx, I agree with Glenn, don't say what he should get, but more rather tell him your experience, which I think is more valuable as far as for him to decide. As far as the Revo goes it is about 150, and does what I need it as far as a low pro goes. But many brands are good. I usually go on Cabelas and read the reviews, and then go to my local tackle shop and hold it in my hand. This gives me a informed decision.

Sorry WRB, I am not sure how far this invitation extends. My best friend works for the state, and he pulled some strings for me. I will definitely ask though. This was their requirement. I also have to volunteer my time every 6 months for the rest of my life :-? I work for my County. So you may have to be a government employee. Not sure again, but I will ask! I think I will join FLW Outdoors, that way I can be a co-angler in some of the West Coast Tournaments.

Well I appreciate the advice. But my perk is getting a lifetime fishing license in my state. Requirement, being an affiliate as a lifetime member in some sort organization which promotes wildlife conservation, which most organization do. I get a nice discount for doing this, helps to know people
