What is that? I've found a good fit with the 2/0 Gammy Finesse Wide Gap hook. The shape of this hook really causes it to find it's mark in the fishes jaw. Sometimes, all you have to do is tighten the line after the cast to see if you can feel anything, and you end up hooking the fish just by doing that. Its called a moto hook, hand tied 50# mono guard, which you can also cut in half to make a V shaped guard. They are Gammy hooks in 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0 sizes. Very sturdy hooks. I buy a lot from ebay, only had one issue buying a used shimano, they guy practically threw it in the sand or something because when it got to me, it was dirty. I will tend to buy new things on eBay, and it is great for finding rare or hard to find items in the U.S.

For me Shimano Caenan or Citica if you want to stick in your price range. The Skeet Reese reels, you do realize may perform just was well or maybe even better then some other reels.
