I remember when I had my 11' Sears I still miss that jon boat easy to carry, but when my seat broke the boat about flipped if wasn't for my brother being up front and countered the weight. The dang thing was almost standing up sideways, haha good times. This dummy sat back in the seat and almost fell out boat again.

One of the ways I remember growing up was fishing line around a soda or beer can(whatever we found) Tied the line around the can, hand toss line out, and twirl the line around then can till fish was in. We used whatever we could for bait. One time me and my buddy was just using sunflower seeds. It worked for bluegills, lol.

To bad you couldn't have caught their older models when they were on clearance for such a great price. I got mine not for the greatest price but still at $140 I think. Just always got to stay on the look out never know what you might come across. I do own a couple of Carbonlites and Pro qualifier rods I am happy with.

Also are you just looking for a reel or a rod as well? And your budget is $100 for both? Now what kind of stores are near you and can you order online?

My uncle is about the get my Aunt a bow so she can go with us next year and me and my cousin thinking about trying to get our wives involved. Even if not hunting at least shooting and archery with us. Still enjoyable and fun target and skeet shooting with bow, handguns and of course shotgun for the skeets or some like to call clay pigeon.

Breakfast indeed!! I'm an omelet man. Love sausage biscuits and gravy, Chip beef gravy. Grits are good but was raised on sugar. Cereal about every night in middle of the night. Chex, Popeyes, corn flakes, honey bunch of oats, and so on. Wow we just had a topic about scrapple and and just 1 guy mentions it? Now I want some Apple cobbler. Mimi's Cafe had some type of apple desert that was good and Bob Evans has that cinnamon apple? thing that is good. Can never go wrong with a good apple. Fried egg on a hamburger is good too. Hard to find a restaurant with that. I only knew of one and where I got the ideal.

I'm using just Z-mans with Live magic shad as trailer. It's my go to baits on small ponds and I love them in rivers. When fishing small ponds I might just toss out the small chatterbaits to target crappie too. Out on the river you might just hook into some cats lol.

My PB came off the Cavitron Chartreuse. I'm using just 7' MH-F rod and 6.4 ratio reel. My line I use is 15# CXX. I will also fish them in and around the openings of lily pads.

If bank fishing especially small ponds and so forth I toss out chatterbaits. Seems to be the only thing that works for me. I just fan toss as I circle the pond.

My son who is 5 likes anything of course over played "BIG TIME" Dumbo, Wallace and Gromit, Robots, Now he is watching Veggie Tales. Then there are times he puts n The Amazing Spider-man, Thor, Avengers, and I'm happy! I remember when he was younger he would stay up purposely to watched the upside down show.
