I just got this rod... it’s the one they recommended for cranks in my price range... I have a Crucial as well but sure that one is just M. heck I had to go look at the Crucial lol it’s a 7’M- MF.. Only MH I know I have that I know of are my Carbon light and Pro Qualifier. The pic is the rod specs. The 6th Sense line up what’s y’all favorite color?? Heck what yall’s favorite color for deep divers?? I’ve read white or dark.. so is chartreuse still a great choice or or not so great deep?

Definitely Mono. If I’m fishing thick cover like Pads than Braid.

Yeah... my seats , front trolling motor, batteries, about $1200 worth. Which isn’t a whole lot but when put the the work on decking and setting up the jon boat with pride... just to have taken sucks all the pride and joy away. This little boat boat is pretty nice I will say... still hopefully get a used boat down the line for bigger water. But I have this on a 500+ reservoir. I can handle a gas motor too just have to get a new one... i sold tbat that when I sold the tracker.

In a boat. The ramp is on the other side of the lake... if know the shortcut from Geico to 95 than it’s easy to find the ramp. But you turn right between the Geico and Hiant, right at the animal hospital, straight at the all way stop signs, and you’ll see a very large rock and sign on RT he right.. I seen people parking and carrying their kayak over the ridge by the pull off on West Rocky Run lol. I’m sure we’re talking about the same spot?? cause it’s the only spot unless you park at the circle. I was told we’re not allow to park and fished at the circle but I have the past. Allot of people do too. Here’s a pic of the ramp. It has a kayak launch too.

Just like in my introduction I’ve recently got back into fishing. I had given it up when everything was stolen off my Tracker.. but with my kids wanting to fish, I’m getting that passion back. I’ve recently bought a small Pelican PRO120. Here are are some videos I made while we was out fishing a local lake and pond. This one is of me and my son Justus. He never been fishing or out on a boat. He have been talking about the boat so the Wife ordered him a life jacket and I took him out last Saturday evening... we we went to lake Mooney by the house... he didn’t catch anything and has allot to learn when comes to casting and reeling. Next time ill I’ll probably just bring worms or minnows for him... at least should greater his chances!! It wasn’t easy with him lol. He was all over the place. He gave up and started playing on phone lol. But wants to cast as much as he can out our yard to learn. Still nothing of size on Lake Mooney. here’s is videos of me and oldest pond fishing. A friend I’ve met through FB allowed us to fish his buddy’s pond. my son landed his first bass on a chatterbait. I’ve caught several there and these two were the biggest I caught fishing this pond.

Revisting this post.. I’ve fished Mooney three times so far this month since I got the boat... still all dink’s for me... I seen pics of some 4# bass but o haven’t hooked anything close yet...

I live next to Lake Mooney and fish three different times but can’t catch anything over a pound.... Mooney have became harder to fish lately... first time out I managed 20+ in five hours? All small though. But yesterday I managed 7. Two did shake me when I went to lip but I’m counting them anyways lol... I fished Curtis once two weeks ago with my oldest and only manage 6 for the day... all small... VDGIF reports hard fishing but holds 13 lbs?? Abel I never fished but I remember hearing when I was an active member four years ago it was very hard to fish... Ruffins I never been nor have I been near it lately.. is it still accessible?? Do the public still fish it?? Im going out tomorrow morning and debating where to try....

I went with the Lowrance Hook2 TS 7 gps plotter... seemed easy to use. Once I learned which was the enter button lol. Plus us I get a $100 rebate on it.

I’m looking at either a Hummingbird Helix 5 with both SI/DI and GPS, Lowrance Hook2 TS 5 with maps, or Lowrance Hook2 TS 7 with GPS plotter. Im stuck on which one... with all the new technology on our phones are the maps needed?? The GPS plotter don’t have maps but you can track your way points just off the white screen.. whos owns one one of these brands line up and/or familiar with them?

After a long hiatus I have returned lol... So so I bought a Pelican Pro 120 and working the dust off my rods and reels.. hows everyone?? Is Wayne P and Sam still here? I just feel new all over again when coming to bass fishing... rods, reels, line, tackle.... my PQ(Original PQ) crapped on me, my Carrot Stix broke but it was my fought. .. my Plueger Presidental XT is acting up.... after all those years and the closet I guess the dust settled in on them reels and just crapping on me. I don’t know... I’m sure I can fix both by swapping parts if need.
