I can't tell a difference lol. I will say the rail rated at 12oz but the packaged weighed more than the rail itself. I would of thought for something close to a pound you would notice it? But I do like it.

I ditched the magpul rail for a free float today. I went with the Leapers UTG Pro keymod in 15". Thanks to MDBOWHUNTER! He talked me into keymod. http://www.leapers.com/prod_detail.php?itemno=MTU019SSK I also had to replace the has block with the low pro Yankie Hill.

I was just online looking at Diamondhead rails. And hard is to replace to gas block with a low profile one?

Their definitely not the same height. Now far ad melting goes is this for semi auto as well?? I went to another tactical that sells accessories in their store but they didn't have any risers or metal flip up sights. Just the A2 and for other polymer sights. They said they never heard of any MBus melting on the gas block but I have read from the magpul sight on what yall was saying. I even read some AR forums on it as well. What are some cool accessories I can look in to??

I even almost bought that same butt stock today to replace mine. I didn't know anything about other magpul accessories till after I order mine. I went to SSG tactical around my way but nothing I was interested in. Couple of rails but cost is crazy high and can get parts cheaper else where.

A free float is something I'm after and I'm still new to AR so I only knew the standard guard and magpul. I've been online searching at some. we was going to change my order to a free float but I wasn't sure on what I wanted brand. I'm trying to find one around or less than $100 and not a four sided rail. I also want a longer rail I came across one brand a while back but can't remember their name. It was recommended by one of those AR forum sites. Far as if is something H&S always do I'm not sure and wouldn't think so. These guys are serious about their products. 1 is a wounded veteran. Do y'all think even with a riser the sight still melt? I seen photos where others have it the same way mounted backwards on their gas block.

It took a good 2 months with all the suppliers ordering issues from my 1:7 twist barrel blank, magpul, nickel barron bolt carrier but H&S Tactical was finally able to finish it.

I only use inline all season since we're not allow rifles where I hunt at. My father in law have cap and ball rifle and revolvers. He make his own lead bullets from the lead in in car batteries and where ever else he can get lead from. Sadly he doesn't hunt though.

Well 49er signed Reggie Bush. I don't mind him and was a fan when he was at Miami and Detriot. Not so much at NO but I think a waste of money and signing. Yep. I did just read they released Stevie Johnson. They had great conversation with Reggie Bush but I think that's a dumb move for 49er if sign him. Waste of signing.
