I tried a colorado spinner and lost it doing this trying to jig it. I have tried 3/8 hot tip Chartreuse and shimmer blue with no luck still. I even went bigger to a 1/2 Blue Herring with nothing either. Lately wacky worm doesn't even work, just my Bandit! lol.

If works well it will be paying $11.99 for the Live Target. Give us a feedback on the lure when you get the chance to use it!!

I would try to get anything in 6'6- 7' in M-F or XF but that's me. I use a 6'8 M-XF and 7' M-F though both mine are spinning.

Yep this lake is a residential lake that I fish. I caught the one in my avatar a 5lb on wacky off a point, a 6.4lb on a buzzbait, and 3.8lb on a crank. Those three are the best I've done there so far. The banks are covered in beaver,fallen branches practically around the whole lake. The deeper side of the lake drops like 10' off bank to 14' and 18' in spots. Usually and lately I've been cranking there. It's the only thing that's been working but I have wacky the banks when I can get pass the fallen branches. Too many times I got hung up. I also buzzbait the shallow areas and dark coves. That's how I landed the 6.4 in a shadow cove near a fallen branch. Maybe in 5'-6' of water on the buzzbait. I also lost a monster in the shallows fishing over an fallen tree with me Rapala Skitterwalk. I more glad I got setup back than injured lol.

I went today from 7-1pm. The cold snap dropped the water temp down to 54 degrees. I only landed 5. 3 bass, 1 crappie, and 1 pickerel. All on the bandit200. Nothing would take to a topwater or spinner.

What a cold morning. I went from 7 to 1. The water temp was 54 degrees and reach 60. Visibility seemed about 2'. I managed 3 at the lake. 2 bass 1 crappie. The crappie was bigger than the bass. At other lake 1 bass and 1 pickerel. I almost fell in, lol. I lost my balanced and dropping my cranking setup with my whole right arm went in the water as I hit the deck. Luckily the water was only 2' and got my rod back. It's a Curado 200E5 and 7' M-MF Crucial. I didn't want to lose that. I also broke my favorite Bandit200, the Tennessee shad and lost a just bought War Eagle spinnerbait. WHAT A DAY!! The crappie was the best catch of the day for a little guy himself.

The BPS Crankin stick has a good rep here. Me I'm using a last year model 7' M-MF Crucial for my all around rod.

Congrats Rocky. Are you using you phone or Camera? If a camera maybe get you a tripod or do you phone have a self timer? So you can get full body shots of you and the fish?

I wonder if tomorrow will be a waist of a trip? The temp is post to get down to 32 degrees tonight. 57 for tomorrow high and sunny. The wind is post to die down to 9 MPH tomorrow as well.

Mine are not really that old I just got into bass fishing maybe 4-5 years ago but mine was the Gander Mountain Tournament combo, The Abu Ambassador 5000 combo from walmart.

As much as I can fit into my worm bag. I have tons of colors and styles. To name some watermelon, watermelon red, green pumpkin, green pumpkin watermelon laminate, bama bug, june bug, plum apple, black blue laminate, etc

The rods are basically a special deal you get with the reel. The rod will get the job done till you can upgrade. To me it's one of those I want the reel and need a rod but can't afford both separately so you pay the $20 difference for the combo and the rod makes do till later. But then again who knows you might like it. They definitely change from the older model rod but probably still made the same beside from what I'm looking at their split grips now? http://www.pfluegerfishing.com/products/products.php?p=45 I you need a decent wacky setup the rod will do. I had two different pflueger rod President XT combo and Supreme when they did the specials for the combos. but soon as could I upgraded to better rods.

It's worth it just for the reel itself. The rod isn't the greatest, most sensitive rod but it's an OK rod. It get's you started. If get the M it will work for weightless worms and wacky.
