Is that one pond a small one? Those small ponds that I can walk around I love burning small chatterbaits through them since the ones I fish is fill with only grass and one lil beaver d**n. I'm hoping to have a good turn out Sunday. Me and brother going to Hunting run. Then over the week I'm going to the Mattaponi river. People swear their is massive bowfins running through there. It's a small river that you can cast completely across. It's filled with lilies also so I can't wait to troll through and frog. I don't have to worry about the river opening up wider since that's a good good ways away. But far as fishing that river I only caught two dink, Three small pickerels in the winter and bunch of brim, all this from land. I'm going to take my boat. I wish I'd kept my small jonboat. AP Hill has some small ponds that has no ramp and can't access them by land in the woods. I'm not about to walk through the woods in a military base but I'm sure these ponds are not being fish.

It might work one on some but those bad ones I'm not sure. There is some I can just pull out as well. I want to try the other video and see if that works but I'm not up to just causing a backlash and trying to find out. My brother cause one on my Carbonlite that I was force to cut line. I think I removed half the spool. This was maybe three weeks ago since then I replace the line with 14lb over 12lb XPS flouro since the 14lb was .013 diameter and the 12lb was .012, speaking of line its on sale or was for 20% off. I do know its on sale for the 4th of july sales(listed in the add) just not sure if cheaper than the 20%.

I went to Travis lake yesterday Located in AP Hill between 7:00 till 1:00. The water was stained but I think that it's natural color (same as last year). The lake is mainly nothing but lilies around the lake edges with very few stumps and fallen trees. The lake deepest is close to 8'. The water started off 79 degrees and reached 81.2 before I left. The overcast made the weather feel nice,lol with the nice off and on drizzle. The wind didn't pick up till later maybe 11:30 or so. I ended up with 10 bass all on wacky fishing the outside of the lilies. The Senko's 5" Plum Apple was the color of choice. I did manage 1 on the Senko black/blue laminate but nothing on the june bug color. I started off the day using my Kopper's hallow body frog (brown/black) with no luck besides one miss. It was my first time using this brand of frog. Through out the day I also tried a Rage Tail thumper,Hula Popper, jig, and a black/blue chatterbait with a Live Magic Shad with no luck. My best day for me. I landed a 4.9 which I thought to myself bringing it in watch it be a bowfin, a 3.4 and 8 other dinks. By the way no bowfin today and shockingly no pickerels on the year. Hopefully going to Hunting run on Sunday, me and my brother. Sorry for the bad pics. The camera got moisture in the lens and those with facebook. What is that like if I may ask? Here is a born and raised Louisiana boy. My niece's husband who just moved up here last year. I took him fishing with me at Hunting run. He was doing all he can do block the sun, lol. When we got off the water boy was he burnt. The photo is of last year during the summer.

Just went ahead and bought me a Kopper Frog. Brown/ black for color. Only problem I see with the ones I looked at all the bellies the same white color with maybe the top color of around the bottom of lip and throat area at least mine is. Do you have to trim the skirt with these?

Side arm might be a better way to go. I heard it with Spinners but is it for all baits, side arms allows a quieter entry with the water? Or it's underhand?

So In doing this knot not sure if I done correctly but when I pull my tag it the knot slides up the line. The knot it self does feel strong however but wondering if you notice that before or nothing to worry about? Nevermind I think. I just made the pop noise like the site speak of now I can't pull tag and have the knot slide up line. But speaking off this knot, great for cranks?

Yea I'm really thinking about giving this Seaguar AbrasX a shot in 12# for cranking. I haven't use Seaguar since that carbon stuff(yellow package) I didn't like but that was on spinning gear.

I would think so myself. I know I wouldn't do it. Was that blood on his finger? If so must of scrap teeth or hook maybe. Far as the reels go if ordering online JaxBasser said that Gander Mountain has reels over $100 onsale when using gmg20. When I looked it up myself the Revo SX with code is $129. The Curado unfortunately is on backorder. I'm guessing the deals is still going on.

Still a good deal. You saved yourself $40 from the full price. Did you buy the extended warranty too? I think it will give you another year. So two full years. I can't remember if the extended is just a year or maybe 2. If I'm not mistaken if not gotten it yet, you have 30 days to do so. I know my 40lb Prowler still kicking strong beside the the things I mentioned in my earlier post and I had it over 2 years. Only thing I had to fix was one of the connection O-ring and the nut to the prop. Some how lost the one that came with it. Also if not have one yet make sure you have an extra battery.

Looks like you might be shopping for another rod if not have 1 already!

X2 I have the O rings as well just never used them. I heard it doesn't fall right and not only that the hook is exposed so I would think it would be a major snag problem. I did recently fill mine but don't recall if took screw off or just used a pen. My advice for heat shrinking tubes would be buy extras and keep them inside the house till there needed. Through out the summer all my pre-cut tubes shrunk due to the heat..

Do you got any pics of the full boat? I'm interested in seeing the whole boat. Never seen a deck like that before. What kind of boat is it?
