Just looked at the website...wow. Anybody who photoshops just about every image on their website aren't the kind of people you want to be dealing with imo. I bet they have great customer support, lawl.

That is pretty close the coloring was a little different in those colors but I love Wave baits so I'll have to try one of them out!

Earlier this summer I ran into my old High School's bass fishing coach and he was showing me some of his baits etc. I came across this enormous worm probably 12" that just so happened to be in my favorite color (Sweet Potatoe Pie By Wave Worms). It has a ribbon type tail on it with the upper portion having some MEAT on it...you could seriously beat someone to death with this thing. He couldn't recall what is was or where it came from but DID remember catching some hawgs on them awhile back. I've been looking around for something like it, but it is a little hard to tell by looking at pictures the girth on some worms. If anybody has an idea what it may be or has any recommendations on some big baits like it I'd really appreciate it.

Question 1: I recently to started fishing jigs and have had my greatest success pitching them into cover or pockets then shaking the rod to give mostly your trailer some action. Another good method I found in creeks is just to hop it along the bottom. Lastly, A dead stick type approach where you cast it out and let it sit then give it a nice gradual pull towards you without bring your rod tip above good hook setting position. Then let the bait settle, shake and shimmy, rinse and repeat. Question 2: Couldn't tell ya Question 3: Alot of times from what I've read, heard and seen is that jigs are very successful in your basic colors. Black/Red Black/Blue Black/Purple Brown/Green Brown/Black PB&J etc. Some of the other color jigs like your oranges and reds may be trying to better simulate the color of say a California red craw. As far as trailers I personally believe they come in so many different colors because the trailer is normally what gets you your strike. The flapping of the craw legs and claws when you shake the bait is the main attractant. Thus color wise I'd have to say this is because of different water clarities so the fishies can see a reflection of a red flake etc. Not sure if all my information is accurate, but it's somewhat close. There are other guys on here that will offer some mind blowing information.

Honestly, I've tried this bait about 20+ times and never had even a dink hit them. Everyone on here raves the Rage Tail name but personally they are the only baits in my tacklebox that I have NEVER caught anything on. Not sure if the Illinois bass just don't like them or what, but I know alot of people swear by them so hopefully they will work well for you! Edit before someone says z0mgz you dont have them rigged right! Yes, I do.

It takes a little while to get used to, but after basically spending all winter standing on the tail gate of my truck pitchin into a coffee cup it paid off for this year. For me it was easier to just bring the jig back into my hand for a split second while I got the rod tip down and loaded then shot it out nice and low with minimal splash. Flippin on the other hand I found to be more difficult and haven't exactly mastered it. I'm sure you will get it down no problem soon having experience with bc's..and when you do it is an awesome technique. Good luck

Definately unseen. Yesterday was a great example, I was just flippin a jig maybe a foot out into muck around the edge of a pond when all of a sudden I'm guessing around a 7lb bass jumps out of the water to get my jig as I pull it out and lands on the shore. /heartattack I throw it back in twice and he smacks the heck out of it and thrashes around in about a half a foot of water...it scared me half to death and thus missing two hooksets. I tend to get overly excited when I see the fish :-/

There is two old strip pits in LaRose that are called "ponds". You can stand on one side and look across and not see the other. The water is bright aqua and visibility is about 15-20 feet down, it is just beautiful. There are so many fish in there you can just look down into the water and see loads of fish. The old man opens it up for a day or two maybe once ever year or so to people with boats (trolling only). I went out their one time with a friend who has very rare access to it and we both threw on a white spinner and caught a bass nearly EVERY SINGLE cast for about 3 hours all about in the 1-3 lb range. Check out google earth and look at LaRose, you can't miss them. Unfortunately he hasn't opened it for about three years, due to a pair of kids trasspassing and drowning. I hear the pits are over 120 feet deep 0.o

We head down to the Ozarks every year with my girlfriend's family. They take the tubes, jetski's, wakeboards out etc while I strap on a life jacket and float from our dock down the rocks and fish off the rocks. Always have a good day down there

Was fishing the Illinois river for catfish and caught and entire section of chain link fence =P

Citica ftw. It is probably easier to learn on a "set it and forget it" Shimano, then on other baitcasters where if you forget to adjust the spool speed...uh ohz.

I like to use Black and Bone White type colors or shad colors for top water.

I can relate, but not in the same context. A few years back I was a profesionally sponsored gamer. Payed to fly to LAN Events and play in front of crowds of people, free parts, free computers pretty much my dream come true. One day though the other things just seemed more important to me like my girlfriend, family ect. I walked away when I had it all and I came back and it feels right but that drive isn't the same. Fishing is a newer hobby of mine that I replaced gaming with, so I haven't got in that funk yet but for some I think it's a normal thing. Maybe you like to do it but it's not what you LOVE to do. It may come back but you will just have to wait and see
