Best Price on GY Senkos
He's not looking for knock-offs.

Best Bass Attractant?
JJ's Magic is the best. Add some to your bags with a glass eyedropper so it marinates the baits. They'll never need to be dipped afterwards.

Best Price on GY Senkos
Search the internet for 'seconds'. I bought a 100-pack for about $25 of some that had some color-mixing issues when being poured. They still wiggle just the same.

Senko spins while retrieving
Most plastics will spin if not rigged straight.

Best creature/beaver style bait
Berkley Havoc Pit Boss. Hard to beat at $3/pack.

Strike King KVD Jerkbait "River Shiner" ? ? ?
If they were available, it would be the same situation as with the KVD 1.5 Chartreuese/black back squarebills back in 2011. People were opportunistically cleaning out their local stores and flipping the $5 baits for $20 apiece online after KVD won the Louisiana Delta Bassmaster Classic with them.

Best jerkbaits-value and production
Rapala Shadow Raps for the best value. Lucky Craft Pointer 100 if I fished tournaments.

Favorite crank bait Rod
The Fury 705cb is what I bought my dad last season. It fishes nicely. Not quite as crisp as my Champion 705cb, but that's to be expected given the fact that it costs 1/2 as much. It's a quality rod, and I paid less than $100 during a 15% off sale.

Is the space monkey any good?
I wouldn't put too much faith in that, especially since Lee wasn't being filmed. These pros are known to use whatever they want and later claim that their sponsor's products caught all the fish.

Tubes for drop shotting
Tubes work great on a dropshot, especially those with a little more meat in the nose. Really, any plastic can be dropshotted. Even half-torn-up plastics that end up on the boat carpet are worth a try.

Yo Zuri Hybrid
Is this a thread about Fluoroclear or Hybrid? Did OP edit the title?

Is Seaguar Red Label 20lb. Test Any Good?
You'd be better off with #12-15, but $3 is a great deal. Try it. If it doesn't work, strip it off and go with something else, like Yo Zuri #12, which would be more appropriate for the techniques listed.

Favorite crank bait Rod
That's mainly what I fish, that and lipless cranks. It's perfect for both. The 704 seems a little flimsy to me.

Dobyns Sierra SA 704SF
Has anyone tried this rod? What do you think of it? Is it true to the other 4-power rods in the lineup? Lighter, heavier, faster, slower? I'm looking for a rod specifically for skipping soft plastics and jigs. I'll mainly use 5" Senkos, soft jerkbaits, and 1/4oz jigs. I have been using a 703 Extreme but I feel it's too light for a skipping rod. I have a hard time horsing bass out from underneath a dock with it. Thanks

Favorite crank bait Rod
Dobyns Champion 705cb graphite. I blew a lot of money buying and selling crankbait rods before finding this one.

Best Jig Line
Tatsu #20 is the best jig line I've used. It handles like most brands #12-15, and you can use it for a longer span before it feels like it needs replacement. For a lower price point, the other three Seaguar FC lines mentioned here are all good options. For what it's worth, I used these three over Tatsu because of it's prohibitive price.

Dobyns Fury 735C
I haven't used the Fury 735, but I have a pair of the Champ 735 and Champ Extreme 745. I prefer the 5-power for tossing jigs and worms. As far as the actions go, the Champion 734 is a bit slower/softer than any of the above-mentioned rods. I feel it's better suited for moving baits like 3/8-3/4 oz spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, bladed jigs, topwater walkers, and large squarebills. It's my favorite rod for those. I didn't particularly like it for jigs and worms. It's just a little bit too soft in the tip for jigging, especially if you're fishing around a lot of weeds, like in MN lakes.

Favourite Texas rigged soft plastic
My favorite are simple ribbontail worms. 7" Berkley Havoc Juice Worm ($0.20 ea) and 10" Zoom Ol' Monster ($0.44 ea) are both great baits and good values.

What's your go-to line for long distance jerk bait fishing?
I could get better distance with braid, but I use 6# Yo Zuri Hybrid on a 6' M/F GLX spinning rod for jerkbaits. It's breaking strength is well-advertised as being stronger than listed. I caught a 15 lb jumping northern pike on the setup last season using a Pointer 100. It's plenty strong, and jerkbaits fly a mile, even on a shorty rod.

Yo Zuri Hybrid
For what it's worth, I tried it on the ice this winter for panfish after seeing some good reports. It may be the worst cold-weather line I've used. I had to strip it from the spinning reel by hand it was so coiled up. It lasted about two trips before I replaced it with a soft mono.

Classic
And they pretty much all sound the same. "I'd like to thank my sponsors ____, ____, and ____" That would work great, but BASS would have to deliver the camera or cameraman to the angler's boat. A surging competitor shouldn't have to go back to the landing to pick someone up.

Wackyrig weighted jig???

Classic
Congrats to Jordan Lee! That was an amazing comeback, and he seems like a class act.

Classic
This has been an interesting last day. The Bassmaster Live coverage has been very clear this tourney. Much better than in the wilds of Okeechobee. Part of me was hoping Ike would pull it off, but it's great to see some of the newer anglers fighting for the win.

Classic
I was out for two of the days on Mille Lacs last fall. I only live about an hour away. There were hundreds of spectator boats out there. The landings were overflowing. I never saw anyone fishing anywhere near the pros, much less poaching the spots after they were vacated by the competitors. However, it was common to see boaters marking the hot spots on graphs and phones. Lots of people did that. Most boats stayed about 75-100 yards away from the Elite guys. It was quite the sight to see guys trying to use binoculars and tripod cameras in three-foot rollers.
