  1. well tyrius, now that i know what the lure mimics, i couldn't care less. besides, how do u know i'm not planning a fishing trip to NY? finding secrets in the world of bass fishing is always helpful though, can't help but ask :
  2. definitely a catfish. all carp have scales right?
  3. just thought i'd share this
  4. ok i'm crying, people at work think i've gone off the deep end, that picture really messed me up. is that you Raul?
  5. i used to love dogs and hate cats, now i realized dogs are annoying (great for kids) and cats mind there own business. they're like miniature tigers too, cool to watch...very curious
  6. why don't people want to believe that when they catch a bass first cast, that it's going to be a good day? :-?
  7. don't forget there are days when they are obviously feeding but won't take an artificial lure. i don't know what it is and believe me i've thrown literally everything on those days including the kitchen sink with jack squat to show for it.
  8. took you guys long enough ;D. i agree with everyone about bass not seeing the top and it being a reaction bait. that was my initial thought about it. if it were 7-8 bucks like my spros, it'd be justified
  9. Never not caught anything at this local neighborhood lake. this lake is one main body of water with long coves all the way around it (we call them fingers). I usually fish around a drain in one of these fingers after a rain cause they seem to congregate there, but they weren't this weekend. they were in one of the fingers closest to the main part of the lake. these two buggers were caught off submerged trees in about 9 foot of water. 8-) sorry bout the cell pics. the first one was 5.4, the other 6.6. both fell on a 6" oxblood roboworm zipper shakin. my dumb as# friend emailed the pics to me labeled 1 pounder and half pounder cause he couldn't get a pig this weekend ;D ;D ;D
  10. thats a long one! nice bass dude
  11. geez dude, sick....just sick
  12. yes, yes, and yes. the adjustable mag brakes have been so key for me
  13. paul beat me to it, your in arizona man, keep your cranks in a cooler. i wouldnt want to replace them if i worked for strike king. it's not defective but they are if you cook them!
  14. thats too bad cause you can't beat fried brim, tater tots and and a pabst blue ribbon
  15. ok i lost it reading that t shirt ;D ;D ;D ;D
  16. how the heck did you even get it on a shakey head? These work well with the 3X stuff: http://www.***.com/VMC_Barbarian_Moon_Eye_Shakey_Head_Jig_4pk/descpage-VMCBRMN.html thats not weedless though huh?

  18. geez man. thats huge. you fry him up?
  19. thanks for the heads up.
  20. i tie on my strongpoint lures the night before and then wait till i get on the water to gauge my gameplan, as there are so many variables to adjust to any given day, then i switch accordingly if need be
  21. went to a neighborhood lake this morning and threw a junebug brush hog (my all time plastic) for two hours tryin to get a bite. i used to think if they were biting worms, they would bite anything and any color. well, i changed to a zoom magnum finesse worm in watermelon and caught two over 5 pounds right off the bat. coincidence? :-? anyways, those magnum finesse worms are bad to the bone!
  22. Ya got me. That's a new one. Did he fight 'til your arm was tired? ;D I'll file that one away and just keep watching. not really a match for a 7'6" Heavy. quite effortless.
  23. how the heck did you even get it on a shakey head?
