  4. yes purple or junebug is the new watermelon like someone said here on this site a little while back. any time, place, style, or presentation. peanut butter and jelly is another variation on purple i've had great success with
  5. they say if you slightly bend that pin before inserting it back, that it'll stay in place. gitty up
  6. i like em. good, natural action, falls apart at hook set and they taste real to the bass. i let one run off almost 20 yards before settin the hook just to see how long she'd hold on, she never let go either. nasty guthook though which i managed to free her from thankfully. for goodness sake though, don't let the bag sit open while you fish, zip em up airtight when not in use
  7. i've had days fishing frogs in the pads, when bass would not for the love of moses, finish it off. just a violent headbutt to get them out of their territory. probably thirty misses for two people no exaggerations. i took the hint eventually and cleaned up finally by switching to my paddle tail tube, more vulnerable looking i suppose.
  8. it's all about hank parker. besides the peanut butter stuck to the roof of his mouth all the time, its a great show. good balance of bass fishing education and entertainment.
  9. agreed. ordered a few rods from them which can be nerve racking, but those rod tubes they use are bad to the bone! impecable customer service. free, prompt shipping 50$ and up. my fridge is covered in those stickers they send with the order. looks like a *** brand refrigerator. ;D
  10. ;D ;D but seriously dude, whata deal. thats what i pay for three bags of kut tails. i'd be willing to mail you a check to pick me up some things, you think i'm kiddin. unless the owner owed you one i want in. i'll support your local tackleshop no doubt

  18. les actually goes it alone. carrys all his cameras and equipment.films himself climbing a cliff from below then goes back dowm to get his camera. i'm sure his crew isn't too far, but he doesnt have a camera man there to toss him a granola bar if worse comes to worse
  19. i do the exact same thing right down to the viva and broken yolks, EXCEPT i use the vietnamese rooster chili sauce instead of tabasco, MUCH better. imo of course. now that'll have you wiping your brow!
  20. oxblood zippers in slightly stained to clear. they have a little bit of white on the flat part of the worm that's key. make sure you fish the worm so it swims with the flat on the bottom

  23. it'd be done proper. lots of thought put into it. we could charge what folks pay to play a round of golf at a nice course.
