  1. I usually stick to the far end of the lake. The side that is towards the other pond and neighborhood. Seems like the fish hand on the ledge that is there.
  2. Johnson Park in Collierville has some decent bass fishing. Also check the pond behind the town library over by home depot. That where I fish alot. Have caught a few 3-5lbs out of there.
  3. My old man and I try to go out there every sunday. Caught a couple 2lbers, but he did catch a ~5lb on a red double willow spinner bait. Throwing past the grass line and letting it fall. Then bringing it back up. Caught her at the edge of the grass/drop off.
  4. at the town hall, huh..never knew they had a lake back there. Grew up in collierville too. Did this used to be part of the gravel pits? I may have to stop out there sometime tomorrow.
  5. Welcome. Memphis area here.
  6. Welcome. I'm also in the cordova area. Quite a few local folks on here.
  7. I'm in the same boat, or lack thereof. Haha. I bank fish and pond hop, but with no real luck. I'd be game to fish sunday morning. Give me a shout if you get this in time. 9015697489
  8. A fella i work with talks about that place regularly, but don't think he's been down there recently. I'd be willing to ride down there with ya and give it a try. I've never been.
  9. I'm 27. Been fishing since i was about 18months old.
  10. I'm usually open on weekends. Would love to get back into fishing on a regular basis.
  11. I can't send PM's yet, but I'd definitely be interested in either one, Shelby Forest and/or Arlington.
  12. I'm around the Memphis area also. Kinda been out of the fishing game for a while, but I have been trying to get back into it here lately. We lost our old fishing grounds due to new construction. So I am looking for people to fish with and places to go.
  13. Just found this forum. Looking forward to meeting some fishing buddies and fishing some new places. Grew up fishing on some private ponds that my dad and I used to somewhat maintain. We've caught some serious bass outta these, however they have sold the property and are turning it into a neighborhood. So...now I am trying to find somewhere new to go fishing.
