  3. it was too bad i discovered these babies late in the season last year. bass seem to love 'em. I just t-rig 'em weightless mostly deadsticking.

  7. 10" - 12" yellow perches caught off Lake Michigan at a booth. I wanna catch some of those!
  8. Michigan weather forecast ... haha .. it's a laugher. Says one thing, totally different outside. I don't have a boat, so shore fishing in storms isn't bad unless it t-storms.

  11. i don't think a snapping turtle would just nip you for no reason. if anything, they'd be spooked and take off before you even know it ..

  16. Yeah, definitely a good starter baitcaster reel. the stx is nice too ... i've used a friends stx and i loved it. for some reason, the curado just doesn't suit me
  17. can one of you explain what "dual control" is?
  18. summertime 7pm - 8pm .. .that one hour windows yield many catches on a black & blue plastic worm t-rigged
  19. yeah, i definitely need a life jacket .. since i can't swim. lol
  20. saw a video on youtube where a guy caught a smallie on a bluefox inline spinner, went out and bought one, threw it out and within a couple casts, BAAM! i was sold!
  21. doing lake st. clair on opening weekend. can't wait!
  22. yeah, i got a smallmouth on my jitterbug at night too. it was a blast and one that i'll remember, partly because i just started fishing.
