  2. i shore fish mainly, so bass rates are 1-2 an hour, if i'm lucky. so in my frustration -- i pan fish! helps passes time until those bass wanna bite again
  3. too expensive and leaky bucket. still haven't caught anything on gulp products.
  4. i use snaps to help change lures quickly, but stopped using them after a snap broke when i accidentally hit the pier railing. no swivel snaps.
  5. i live in michigan, so the weeds won't come in til september. ha! don't expect a hog anytime soon ...
  6. bought my first pack of salad spoons.. they were marked 50% off at ganders. tested it on the water and i'm eager to throw it out on some mats. it's gonna be fun.
  7. so chrome's the color, eh guys? gotta try that one out
  8. i'm new with a baitcaster too. i learned pretty quick though. mono doesn't help with noobs on baitcaster. it's a mess to untangle. braided line helps me clear up the tangles easier.
  9. ha, and i thought i was the only one crazy enough to go after lost lures. 30+ is pretty impressive. what do you do when you're 30 ft up and can't come down? haha
  10. i've got a 7' mh vendetta rod with the new revo sx. love it. great for the price. light & strong. I just don't like the design of the butt. it gets scruff and scratched easily, then could probably cut yourself on it too if you're not careful.
  11. Sight fishing is one of the most frustrating things ever! So I don't do it.
  12. I'm a finesse fisherman. Fav. power bait? I would have to say black & blue jig with chigger craw trailer. Bass love it!
  13. i agree with nine miler. start small and catch loads of dinks, then go for the big guys.
  14. I will never know because it come off before I can get it on the shore. Seeing it from above, it was BIG largemouth bass. Still can't get over it.
  15. I've lost plenty of fish that striked close to shore because I wasn't ready. Afterall, I'm getting ready to wind up and re-cast.
  16. Confidence in a lure gives you patience to work it like it's intended, which produces fish(es). That's what I believe.
  17. the new angled spool lip is awesome.
  18. that bass went to an all u can eat sushi buffet before the picture. w0w
  19. i've registered, but haven't used it either.
