  1. The best setup would be a spinning reel fished upside down for that bait.
  2. I have this bag and it is the best thing I ever bought. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0075021125063a&navCount=4&podId=0075021&parentId=cat20327&masterpathid=&navAction=jump&cmCat=MainCatcat20166-cat20182-cat20327_TGP&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20327&hasJS=true
  3. Ragetail eeliminators....what a pieces of crap.
  4. Just called to see if they had any more carbonlite reels...answer was no. BUT he told me if I came up there they would give me a rain check for one. Awesome.
  5. I dont use a leader with braid. I rarely fish clear enough water to make it a concern. And when I do fish clear water I still never use a leader.
  6. this was with fluorocarbon line?
  7. YouTube is your friend if you want to learn fishing stuff. Here is the 2nd video that came up for "shakey head" Check out the other suggestions... there are the same videos but with different worms. Good luck!
  8. it's winter...all I can do is spend my money on fishing stuff for the spring.
  9. $1 shipping! This is the perfect time to get some one piece rods if you dont have a local store. Do they have any restrictions? Either way I will use the shipping dollar for gas to just drive there next week.
  10. "Disadvantages: can't take public transportation with it" hahahaha ;D
  11. Throw it in a fire ;D
  12. I have Aflac. Costs me about $800 a year. The pay out is great for what I have setup. If I go to the hospital I get $200 I think. $2000 a night in the hospital. Lots of other perks. I have it setup for work and personal injury - i.e - fishing accident, motorcycle crash, falling down the steps...ect. Work and play payouts are different. My agent is great to work with too. He is very strait forward about how the claims work and will play out.
  13. I too hate bisping... henderson shut him up a bit. Mir does a great job with wec. he tore up congo. That is really all i can say nice about him.
  14. thank you for that. Gave me a good laugh ;D
  15. Funny you say that because I have caught fish on every other trick worm I have used except the Zoom. I use/have used tons of trick worms. I have 2 bags of Zoom trick worms and have used them over and over with no bites. They look and act no different than the others but I just cant catch a fish with them. I no longer keep them with me when fishing.
  16. I'd show you my tackle but it's too cold outside to walk to the garage and take a picture... Hopefully the weather warms up here soon!
  17. Keep your arms and legs inside the coaster at all times! That is nuts. I went to tampa last summer for vacation but didn't see any gators. Maybe I was too far north.
  18. 500 - 600 gators! that is crazy.
  19. They make finger surgical gloves...they are like little condoms. I would try those...no water will get up there. I think I remember seeing them at CVS one time.
  20. The guy I just spoke with says he is pretty sure the carbonlite rods with not be on sale for the classic. Mainly because they are on sale now. I am not going to take any chances so I'm going to get mine this weekend. BPS is only 10 minutes from me... that is a good thing and a bad thing.
  21. I agree. I hate gold reels! I always have to step up and spend more money just to get a black reel. Funny how that works out for them. It's almost like they planned it.
  22. I think it's there. Cool illusion though.
  23. I have the mojo rod and I hate it. It felt great in the store and I had high hopes for it. But after I put my reel on it (which I should have done in the store) and fished it about a dozen times I now hate it. It is very tip heavy. The blank is thick but semi light. I was interested in getting the carbonlite so I went to check it out yestarday with my reel this time. Wow that thing is light! It feels great in the hands and I cant wait to buy it and use it. 30" on snow on the ground here so I'm going to hold off on buying it right away. It has a great price too! Hope this helps.
