To stratify a battery, one would have not charged them on time, another words, to stratify a battery would mean they have been left under 80% of capacity for long periods of time. Charging of any kind immediately or soon after use will prevent that, plus, you have to assume that every battery out there is always used to below 80%. Like I said, if you charge at a high rate, you fry electrolyte, the slower you can maintain a battery, the longer life you'll get.

as long as you maintain your cell levels, charging at slow rates, called "trickle charge" is best done at slowest rate to save the life of your battery. You may charge a car battery that way, but a car battery isn't a deep cycle battery.

I'm with Jack, I'm not gonna fish as a co boater in that format. If you haven't had a sniff in a few hours, it can't hurt to mention you are a local on this lake, and you were on some fish recently that could help both of you out. Didn't last year teach ya'll anything about the postseason? Last year, Ike was 11th in points to start the AOY postseason run. He won the first event on Lake Jordan and moved to third with 225 pts. Skeet held the lead with 249 and KVD had 233 going to the final event. Alls Ike had to do was repeat his performance and he could have stolen the AOY title coming from 11th. What did KVD do? Went out and whipped the field by about 12 lbs, a beat down laid upon the 11 best anglers to earn the title AOY. KVD said he didn't make the rules, and a postseason format adds pressure to perform. Ike showed it was possible last year. Don't get upset at KVD for doing what Ike almost did a year ago. Anybody remember the 18-1 Patriots, just think, without a post season, New England would of been crowned at 16-0. 8-)

first part of your statement said you had been catching them on all sizes and colors. So on this day, they wanted you to dial in with specifics. What 4 lures got the 4 bites? what type of water did those bites come in? any similarities. did those 4 bites come on the fall, while sitting, while moving? When out the next night and watching 4 miles of line, make mental notes and try something different than what got you the 4 bites, what do you have to loose? 4 bites In those 4 miles of line watching, did you eliminate the other water columns? top and middle, it sounds like bass was not present on bottom during that time or they were inactive.

SI will show things that aren't on the map. west of the 515 bridge on Fork is house foundation with two car garage driveways clear as day, map or my Lowrance never showed that.

ESPN has more viewers than the other outdoor networks. Take note on who the 3 investors are and what each brings to the table. Production, Media, and Financing, with a bow tie, Zona as the host. Add in the relationship Jerry has had with ESPN over the year and its solid deal for all. Jerry is on record I heard through the grapevine that Zona will be in the mix. I hope this goes through, I think Jerry will right the ship.

When that dink wins ya a $30,000 + dollar Skeeter and a Legend bass boat every year. When that dink gives you a shot a 3 Triton Tr 17's every year. Thats 5 boats for the largest dinks caught every year at 3 great tournaments here on Lake Fork.

a battery can have a dead cell and still read over 12 volts across its terminals. The only true way to test if the battery is good is to put the battery under a load, and that is best accomplished at Auto Zone for free, or Walmart if its an EverStart series. You should be able to read whats coming out of each leg of the charger to verify your getting good charging voltage. My alternator will read 13.7-14 volts and thats normal in my car, but when she's not running, only 12.8, and thats normal. Not much difference in voltages, the difference in all chargers is the rate of charge, the amount of amps the charger is putting out. The faster you charge batteries, the shorter the life span, specially on cheaper batteries. Always trickle charge at 2amps if time permits, it may take a day, but in the long run, your batteries will last a long time.

Once you have been in the Cat family, you'll think twice about another boat. The first thing many years ago I noticed over Cats was their livewells, some of the biggest in the industry. Thats not saying there aren't other good boats on the market, Legend is one of the boats going strong in N. Texas these days. Now days, seems like alot of boat companies have had money issues, something you don't hear from BassCat. 8-)

Until these guys fish on the same waters in the same tournament against each other, I don't think you can predict the outcomes so easily, both leagues play on different playing fields and weights don't prove much at all with the different current formats. I'm sorry, if a tournament was in Florida and Peter T is in it, or one of the Lane boys, then they would have just as much a shot at it as an BASS guy. Luke Clausen has already went toe to toe with the BASS and won the Classic and it didn't take him long to prove that either, one year to go toe to toe with the Elites, and he WON IT ALL.

100 degree days and sunny, pitch to the shaded side of those newly flooded trees that are about 8ft deep. A good jig n craw does the trick. Concentrate on the northern treeline if Waco has had good southern wind for a few days. Make the pitch to the shaded side only. Raising lake Waco 7 feet and flooding all that timber has made Waco a little sleeper. Waco is chock full of 5-8 lb class bass.

We encounter alot of floating docks on lakes with major water fluctuations annually. I will hit the new ones that have developed algae growth, growth equals baitfish.

I never have much to get excited about since Tom Hicks was associated with the Rangers. Still not sure we have gotten rid of Hicks either. lol I heard we just got Cliff Lee from Seattle. Rangers finally bettered themselves going into the allstar break and we are leading the divison. Just making post season would be a boost in morale for Rangers fans.

The only knock on AP is he likes to put the ball on the turf too much. CJ is the current young version of LT.
