I'm sorry to hear this, a great asset to these boards. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family.- Jerry fires Wade
Give that offensive line to Pittsburg and see if the "going all the way thread" would survive the season. Some key factors in the offseason was never fixed, and apparently, the few players we lost on defense that gave us some depth hurt. Witten has been penalty prone, drop prone, and missing key blocks all season. Felix don't get the reps cause Garrett is a throwing fool, and Felix can't pick up the blitz like Barber does. Choice hasn't been given a second chance since fumbling before half opening day, and that leaves Barber as our starting tailback. When Barber was running effective, he was spelling Julius Jones in the second and fourth quarters primarily. Newman looked like an old vet, secondary don't have an Ed Reed or any ball hawking type of player. Jerry gambled on his second year kicker being able to step up and fill the role of a veteran FG kicker and that hasn't worked out too well either. There is some good talent, just not in the key places needed. It was time for humpty dumpy to be fired, and Jason needs to go next.- How 'bout them Cowboys???
All that winning over the years created alot of haters. Keep on dishing it out, most of ya'lls teams like the Raiders and Seachickens don't belong on Monday night either and that has been that way for along time. I went alot of years when the Boys were cellar dwellars with no Sunday and Monday night games years back. Seems to me, 13-3, 9-7, 11-5 means they earned the right to a few games on Sunday or Monday night, anyway, keep on hating. Please tell me what your team has done to be there instead. Go Boys!!!- Shad Migration
Temps and food are what drives the shad to the backs of creeks in the fall. Understanding shad might help. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1134661967/ http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1134662267/- Vick
Vick and McNab had the same problems for years, the missing ingredient has been receivers. VicK had Crumplier for years and that was his best set of hands on the team. Vick has some talent at WR and it shows. Same guy, different supporting cast.- Longhorns pounded
Don't insult all fans. I don't expect any good team with a youngster stepping in as QB to lead them to a title. I have said this too many times, there never has been a freshmen or sophmore to ever win a BCS title starting a QB. I believe Tebow was 9-4 his first year as a starter even with playing time coming off the bench as a freshmen. You see what happened to OU with Landry Jones taking over last season with Bradford going down. Hookem- Cowboy fans???
I love it when the haters are out. You had to do something to be not liked. Even if it was long time ago. Your either trolling or hating.- Cowboy fans???
Lots of owners would love to have one Super Bowl trophy, muchless 3 trophies like Jerry has. Yep, Jerry Jones, like his team, isn't very popular, again, winning does that.- Cowboy fans???
I'm sure if you went back when Dallas was having plenty of 5-11 seasons, Dallas wasn't getting the night games. It goes without saying. I do recall 13-3, 9-7, 11-5 seasons past 3 years, winning normally gets you into some of those night games. Until your teams win a few games, I don't think you have a dog in the hunt.- Pelletized deer feed
Apple scented deer corn is the ticket. Make two piles for the game cam to watch, one scented, the other plain corn, notice the times on the pictures, the scented deer corn will be the first, and numerous does may joust for the small piles for thier own.- Cowboys practice halted today!!!
Cowboy stadium was delayed after a player found an unknown white powdery substance on the ground. Training was suspended while police were called in. After analysis, experts determined that the white substance, Unfamiliar to most of the players, was in fact the goal line. Practice will resume this afternoon.. ... ;D- Cowboy fans???
EAsy on the Ammo there buddy. A question like that may have the Romo haters out in full force. Are they playing up to their poetential? We know Romo can throw a couple more INT's, and lay the ball on the ground more than he did this last season. Has Roy Williams been dropping them all this year? No, he can drop a few more to show he hasn't changed.- In case some of you guys forgot (Sports)
"Dallas Sucks" There is a silverlining when a Deadskins fan mentions "Dallas Sucks". It normally comes without the "D cell batteries" ;D- 2010-The Trash is Flying and There's Still No Pennant in Chicago
It normally takes a back seat to football when the season starts, Rangers and Astros are always a mile back as football commences. Cowboys in a funk and Rangers up top. What a switch.- Cowboy fans???
So did my brain Love my Boys, but don't think they'll overcome poor coaching and an overall lack of discipline.- Cowboy fans???
Cowboys lost for various reasons, thus 0-2. Before the season, two questions, O line and FG kicker. Neither seems to have been resolved. Penalties, Barron, coaching, missed fg's. Simple coaching, make some adjustments in the blocking scheme, have Barber chip block and help Barron out and maybe theres no penalty. Take a knee after the holding penalty the play before half that gave Washington 7. Poor coaching. Week 2, same stuff. I'm not worried about being 0-2 in the nfc east. Giants didn't look stellar, Washington isn't that great, and Philly is fixing to have QB battle. I know Dallas has pretty salty defense, and I have seen Dallas with fast starts and slow endings. What counts is the momentum you have when you make the playoffs, and at 0-2, Dallas isn't exactly mathmatically eliminated yet. Next week, they will be 0-3, and Titans are looking very good and I expect the Titans at home to whip the Boys again. At least one of the Texas teams is looking good.- Reggie Bush gives the Heisman back
This wasn't a vote by the Heisman Trust Committee, Bush decided to give it back. Does this mean Vince was the 2005 Heisman winner? ;D Don't really care, back then I said, "we want a crystal football".- Changing Weather
It also depends on the lake itself. How deep or shallow, the size of the lake, how much current is flowing, how many feeder creeks flowing into the lake, bottom composition is what rock, sand, and or mud. All these factors can warm or cool off an body of water with given factors. Just remember, as fall nears, the sun is moving further away, thus we don't feel the intense heat like summer, and the days are getting shorter, meaning longer nights and less daylight hours, that alone is enough to start the cooling process without a change in temps.- 2010-The Trash is Flying and There's Still No Pennant in Chicago
When do I ever get to say the Rangers swept the yanks in a series. never!!! We swept the Yanks last week! woot! woot!- Yeah, it..umm...EVAPORATED ! yeah that's the ticket...
When I was in the Navy, late 80's the Exxon Valdex spilled alot of oil in the Prince William Sound. I wonder how that region is doing today? That spill covered over 1000 miles of coastline and and 11,000 sq miles of ocean approx. Instead of speculating, find out how those salmon grounds are doing today. That spill wasn't near the largest on record at that time, but due to location, it made operations costly to clean up and very time consuming.- Vent... You gotta be kinding me.
The Cowboys played poorly, thats for sure. We did the same thing last year opening day in Tampa Bay, I believe Newman took one to the house to put that one on ice. After the holding penalty moved them back, it should have been take a knee and go in behind by 3 points at half-time. On the same note as the Super Bowl picks, Jets sure got alot of hype for not really earning a playoff spot last year. How did that work for them last night. 7 teams in the playoffs from last year opened with a loss. Don't mean much till a few more games are decided.- giorgio brutini boots
Puts some cleats on them, my cowgirls played like they were wearing them the other night.- If today was your last fishing trip...
Last trip would be with my grandson to Purtis Creek in search of his first 2 lb shellcracker with ultra lites.- Sept. 11, 2001
