  1. Thanks Jack, glad you liked it. It will rerun again in the morning (wed)on Versus @ 9 a.m. keep an eye out for the next Snakehead roundup that JD'sCustomBaits is putting on. I wish everyone would spend some time killing them so we could keep them in check. We have to get the word out that these fish are no good for our bass population.
  2. Good looking bass! Did you have to tell the HOA to take it easy on the grass killing?
  3. That was better than alot of the fishing shows I have seen lately.
  4. Nice report and great fish. I'am starting to like that place.
  5. Thats just incredible that you are consistantly in the XXXL range Just incredible!
  6. 12 miles deep in the everglades, I sunk my boat in alligator infested water.
  7. Are ther Pea's in Lox? The reason i ask is that my co angler hooked up on a spinner bait and said it was a big Pea'. The fish got off at the boat so I never saw it.
  8. Charlie is a very nice guy. The "Mad Fisherman" stick is T.V. Charlie. Off camera he is a normal guy. Dont feel bad about not hearing back about the Georgia JonBoat tournament thing. He gets thousands of request.
  9. Well.....it was like a rag doll in the mouth of a pitbull. But we managed. There was absolutely no place to hide. Got all the fat chicks inside on the flats. tried to go backcountry but just got tossed off the trail. We gotta get out there! Did I tell you I sunk the boat last time at Lox? Nothing ut the TM, steering wheel Motor cowling and the poling platform were sticking out of the water. Sunk it in the hunting trail way back there
  10. Today my good friend Juan M. and I hit Lox Preserve. It was as windy as I have ever attempted to bass fish, close to 25 mph. I started the morning on a JD'sCustomBait frog and stuck with all day accept for some dinkers on the spinner bait at lunch. Juan was busting them on a Bass Assassin weightless. We boated close to 15 and 5 were real good ones.
  11. That is the New Tree Frog but he has some newer colors that he put up on FB. I'll be hitting Lox in the a.m.
  12. "No Offense" on VERSUS T.V. The fishing show I did with Charlie Moore the "Mad Fisherman" will air this friday night at 9:30 eastern standard time, 8:30 central standard time. It is on VERSUS T.V. It should be pretty cool. I know the filming of it was a blast. This show will be Charlie and I killing the evasive Snakeheads in Ft. Lauderdale and a peak into my world in the everglades. It will aire multiple times over the following week. Whether your a fan of Charlies or not, If you get a chance, check it out and see what were doing in S. Florida.
  13. Beautiful fish and a schweet bait.
  14. Thats a great fish Dwight and Robert!
  15. March-May are "PrimeTime" down here. Just like fishing anywhere else. Crankbaits, Jerkbaits, Spinnerbaits, Topwater and Soft Plastics. Unless your bringing a boat or renting a boat/guide you'll be confined to walking the bank which has its limitations (houses and fences..etc.) I'am sure you'll get plenty of pointers to put you on some better canals.
  16. Jeremy and i loaded up the rubicon and gear and headed deep into the Big Cypress National Park. Since the water is extremely low I knew we could bank hop an area that has some fantastic scenery and pretty good fishing. The bass fishing was excellent. We caught 40+ pretty quick. He was using a Yamamoto senko and I was throwing a 3/8 oz. BooYah double blade spinner. No fishy pictures worth posting but some nice video. The point where the camera angle goes skyward is where I sliped and just about fell into the canal.
  17. I have made plans on 2 occasions lately and both times friends backed out. I don't really care to fish alone.....especially on water i have never been too. Most of my free time is durring the work week and most guys are working. Need to make friends with some independantly wealthy and or retired guys ;D
  18. Or the Gheenoe! Still have yet to put my eyes on the Big 'O"
  19. Way to break the ice for 2011!
  20. Passing it on to the youngus is what its all about. Nice job Red!
