  1. Where did you pre-order these at?
  2. So far I have the front deck in and pretty much complete. I need to modify a few things that arent to my likings after fishing in a couple outings. Mainly the lean post. Its to far back. Going to make new lid for the hatch and mount it about 6" closer to the bow. The rear deck is cut and fitted, it just needs carpeted (hopefully tomorrow), and the floor is the same. This is the day it came home, it didnt look like this long. This what the make up of the front deck support looks like, it isnt done here, but it started to rain before I got a picture or 2 with it fully complete with the hatch opening and uprights in. This is the test fit of the deck and lids. Before I took it apart to carpet it. All Carpeted up, ready to mount the stuff. With all the stuff mounted and ready to fish. Will update with pics of the back deck, floor, and round mounts when its completed. Hopefully by the end of the weekend
  3. Nice post and great list. This should really help people out.
  4. Just curious as to what your favorite color skirt and blade are with these? I am about to make an order and would like to try a couple. Thanks
  5. I put them on my last 3 rods, at first I didnt like them because of the back finger grip thing wasnt open, but after fishing it for sometime now, I have grown to like them and now prefer them.
  6. I know what you mean on the blank color, I really like it in the sunlight, but I havent found anything to match the color thread wise without breaking up the finish. I used gold metallic and silver metallic paint dust on this over black thread and it doesnt look to bad in the sun, but it still doesnt match up that well.
  7. Sorry I dont sell them, I just build for myself and friends That is a Daiwa Black Widow II, they were a limited edition made only for the state of California a couple years ago.
  8. This one is a CTS EBT783 in Charcoal Metallic. Guides are Batson Zirconium Charcoal rings, PacBay Woven Graphite Real Seat, Epoxy Ramps, Burl Cork on end. It wasn't originally intended to be marbled, but I made the ramps to steep and I couldn't get the thread to walk up without it falling off about 3/4 of the way up, after many frustrating attempts, I decided to marble it.
  9. Thanks I am normally guilty of the same thing and even kind of done that on this one. I should have made the chevrons about 2x the size they are, but I got in a hurry and wanted to get it done. I am not the fastest with thread wraps Cool deal, I just finished up a CTS Spinning rod that I marbled. Maybe I will get some pics of it up here later today. Tommy
  10. Seems like we need some rod building pics up in this forum, so here is my latest build. Just completed yesterday. I just got done building this rod and decided to put my new Revo Skeet Reese on it and use it for small texas rigs, light jig type of stuff. Old All-Star BAT815 blank, Fuji ACS seat, Batson Zirconium guides, Exotic Burl Cork with a Skeet Reese Revo mounted up with 20/6 braid.
  11. Sucks about the tip, but there warrenty thing is a pretty cool deal.
  12. Just curious what everyones favorite spinnerbait brand is? Blade combo?
  13. Thanks Stayncharge, you were still faster than me, took me 4 hrs of searching to come up with that diagram ;D ;D
  14. Thats what I am thinking also Stayncharge, Probably goes on the positive terminal that has the jumper from the negative. Especially after looking at this diagram http://www.jonestrollingmotor.com/
  15. Hey guys, thought someone here might know. My buddy just gave me his old trolling motor with is a 54# and is 12/24. I know to wire it Trolling Motor Pos to battery 1, neg from battery 1 to pos battery 2 and neg battery 2 back to trolling motor. My question is, there are 3 wires comming out of the trolling motor. Red, Black, White. I know the red is pos, black is neg, but where does this white wire go in the wiring scheme? Thanks for any help, Tommy

Thanks guys, I am not an avid rain fisherman so maybe I will opt for the Frog Toggs as I will probably only use them a couple times a year at best. I always carry one of those $2 dollar ponchos in the boat for pop up stuff, but I rarely fish in a all day soaker. I know I should but, for some reason I just hate fishing in the rain.

First off if this is in the wrong section, I am sorry as I didnt know where to post it. Just curious as to what rainwear you like and where did you get it if you remember? I am going away fishing for a week on Lake Erie here in a couple weeks and want to take some decent/good rainwear with me, as I am sure sometime in that week it will rain, and I dont want to loose a day of fishing to foul weather. Thanks and help
  21. My condolences to his family, but that guy was a complete JERK!!!!
