  1. Why aren't you pouring the mold in halves? Can't you pour some resin, put the bait down in it half way, let that dry, then pour the second half? I have no experience doing any of this, but that's what I have seen others do in tutorials
  2. I love the way that light looks, it's a perfect shot Was that a band shot? Bands always do random pics that make no sense
  3. They have robots bring rocks and specimens back to us
  4. Probably cutting funds... That would impact the search If they found anything of significants it would have been leaked by now.
  5. I'd go for it. I use the old spincaster when I take the boy out Those cheapo lures that come in those kits are great for panfish.

  8. Haven't looked at what was released, but I think we have a right to know some things and other things we will learn in due time. If it compromises the current situation of whatever is going on right now (I'm talking in general) then that info should be omitted until that situation is over or no longer sensitive. I think the government does hold onto 'secrets' too long, they should be released sooner, but not right away.
  9. Take it easy and let that hip heal! You'll be back out on the water in no time! Good luck!
  10. So that's what fill light is for! LOL I see that in Lightroom but never really used it. I think my metering was on center weighted. I need to start keeping track. I never really got into reading EXIF data, are the metering settings in there? Just about everything else is LOL I actually took that while I was driving to my favorite spot on Penn's Creek. I don't suggest driving and shooting though Oh, forgot to answer - That wasn't shot in RAW. My wife uses the camera sometimes and I usually turn it back to just jpg for her (she don't like messing with photos and usually its ebay stuff anyway). Totally forgot to put it back on RAW before I left
  11. Good, at least I'm not alone here then I currently have 2 Quantum reels and 1 rod - all of which are working fine and 1 of those reels I have had for probably 10 years.
  12. Wow... Does anyone here actually like Quantum? I have yet to have an issue with their customer service. I emailed them when I couldn't find a schematic for my reel and had it fairly quickly. I also had a reel completely lock up, sent it into them, repaired no questions - this was still under warranty though.
  13. Lucky! Someday I'll buy myself one... But by that time, the guitars being made now will be vintage Here's a good example of a shot that would have benefitted from HDRI: Poe Paddy Run by nate.follmer, on Flickr See how where the light beam hits the grass it's all washed out? If I would have been paying attention to my histogram, I would have saw that it was washed out and took another photo with a faster shutter speed to make it darker, then combine the two.
  14. That hurts man.... You cut me deep! Anyway, I used to have a Gibson Les Paul custom (it was cut like an SG). White, 3 humbuckers with all gold hardware. That thing had such a warm sound to it! I can't believe I ever got rid of that! I'll buy another one someday
  15. LOL I don't usually... I actually just sold my electric. I have an old Penco that was made locally, it was my great grandmothers, it has doves and all kinds of 70's stuff on it... Amazing! Sounds great, but looks super girly. It sat in a closet from about 79 until last year, every single string was still in tune when I tried it!
  16. J you rock out on the drums? I demand we create a Bass Resource band LOL I'll have to take some shots of my axe.
  17. "Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue"... Terrible news, one of my favorite comics/actors.
  18. Facebook's search is absolutely terrible. I usually tell people how I know them. If I don't get a message with your request (or it's not obvious how I know you) then you aren't getting on my list
  19. I used to drink those Orange Monster's all the time. Then 1 day, my heart started beating funny, I got a massive headache REALLY quickly and I had to sit down for awhile. I stopped drinking them right after that happened and never had a problem since. I'm with ghoti on this one. I just got a Keurig machine from my wife and I am loving it FTW: Caribou Blend Coffee by Green Mountain is the best!
  20. Where did you send it too? Quantum? They are usually very good about fixing things - no questions asked.
  21. I'm pretty sure they are the same as the Dick's cheapo spinnerbaits that Strike King makes. I never had much success with them and they would always get all bent and mangled. I personally hate them, but if they work, they work, so buy them I should add, I think the only reason I couldn't get anything on them was because almost all of my spinnerbait fish come on dual willow blades, maybe I should try adding a blade....
  22. Look at a rattle trap and then look at a red eye shad... Go on Bass Pro and search through the Lipless Cranks, tons of different body designs, each would yield a different action. The red eye shad doesn't just sink, it wiggles while it sinks and sometimes that's all the fish want.
  23. I've never really caught fish on Senko's either. I mean... I have, but they come few and far between. I've caught fish on similar stick baits though, so I don't know what the issue is.
  24. fishermantony has great suggestions there. I also like the Clackin' Raps (the smallest size they make). For colors, Smallies seem to love gold and black (sometimes they call it baby carp). Craw patterns also work well. Toss them around boulders, lay downs or any other steep incline and they should get nailed.
  25. Sevierville is a long way from Memphis. I like Sevierville, but jeez, it like the tourist are packed in that town like tuna in a can. Ah, well for beer, I'm sure it's worth the drive My favorite part of going to Tn was looking at all the cars... I saw one with a duct tape roof, gotta love it!
