  1. Have you ever tried izorline?
  2. I use a LH baitcasters for Pitching/Flipping, Jigs and T-Rigs. The rest I use RH baircasters.
  3. In this video by Glenn he explains why his uses co-poly for Ned Rigs. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/ned-rig.html
  4. I used 6lb invizx which is a great line. Fishing the ned rig tends to get hung up alot. Using braid with a leader and having to tie new leader leaders is a time consuming process when fishing tournaments, not to mention windy rainy days. I will be using izorline xxx co-poly.
  5. Look at Tom with braid!!! It is truly a different world.. LOL (just having some fun with you tom)
  6. Using 6lb FC. After watching Glen's video on Ned Rigs I may Co-poly instead of FC. His logic what FC does with a ned rig makes sense.
  7. Eating a little crow? Your having a feast!! LOL
  8. This scene cracks me up every time. Sully takes a drag on his cig and shakes his head like he scared.
  9. Read the book, much more insight!
  10. Thinking of getting this reel Don't know much about lews. All the reviews I have read are very good. It will hard to break away from Shimano and Diawa. The price on the lews is very good.
  11. So sorry Tom, my thoughts and prayers are with and family .
  12. You may like Line Taming Serum, its a lot like Tangle Free
  13. Line Taming Serum Look them up on Facebook
  14. Would like to have some feedback on the Owner Twist lock Open Gap Hooks. They seem they would be great for T-rigs. My only concern in the twist lock rubbing against the mail line causing it to eventually fail. Thoughts? https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Owner_TwistLock_Open_Gap_Centering_Pin_Hook/descpage-OTLC.html
  15. Solution - use straight fC or straight mono. Less knots=Less failures.
  16. 7lb Sniper on spinning reels, never an issue if you take care of it.
  17. There is nothing wrong with mono (Co-Poly) the fishing industry needs to generate revenue and they have brain washed us. Braid with a leader is overkill IMHO. It requires a lot of attention, especially if you are throwing small plastics and tend to get snagged. During a TX I don't have the time or patience to keep tying on new leaders especially is bad weather.
  18. Agreed! Very good line, smooth!
  19. Not really sold on Megastrike.
  20. Just a matter of time before FC jumps off the spinning reel.
  21. It all works. The fishing industry has a knack of reinventing the wheel in order to lure anglers in to spend their money! Charlie Brewers techniques work and always will! What he said in his book, it's all technique.
