hey all. what set-up are you using for your buzzbaits? longer rod, shorter rod? MH? thanks for the help?

i fish a very clear lake with smallies. in the past ive just used vision flouro or Seaguar Red Label Flouro. both in 6lb test. id like to spend some money and get some very high quality stuff. what are your recommendations? is the sunline super fc sniper flouro really that great? or are there other brands you guys like better? thank you!

im leaving for Guntersville next week. i know there was some talk a few weeks ago about the lake, but i thought id check to see if anyone had any recent updates. ive checked the fishing reports on the web, but seems like everyone is just plugging sponsers. do you think the majority will be pre spawn? any help is greatly appreciated. also, does anyone know of a nice relaxed bar with good food? just looking for a place to kill a relaxing night before bed.

So my grandpa tells me he used to throw a buzzbait a lot in the spring. He said prespawn through post spawn. Do you guys have any luck with the buzz in spring? When do you start throwing them?

I'm looking for about a 7 foot medium spinning rod. What do you guys think is the best option for between 100-150 dollars?

ive decided to try and use braid a lot more this year. but im a little confused. so two questions: 1) what lures/techniques would you use braided line with a fluoro leader? how long of a leader? and 2) what lures/techniques do you use briaded line as backing with flouro. like 1/2 spool braid and 1/2 spool flouro? sorry if its a dumb question. ive just never used braid for anything other than frogs, a-rigs, and punching. thanks for the help!

We are staying near goose pond. but we can drive and put in where ever thanks for all the info everyone. that lake is so big it is overwhelming.

i fish a lake near home quite often. a clear and deep lake - full of smallies. it has been in the upper 70s for the past few weeks during the day and in the 50s at night. this weekend we have a nast storm coming through friday night. and the day temps this weekend willl be in the 50s while at night will drop into around 40. what do smallmouth tend to do following a fall cold front?
