Do I need a maintainer along with the charger?

On Board Chargers??
So I guess that I made it seem more difficult than it really is. I was under the impression that they charged while out on the water, but really its a charger for off the water but it maintains and does all the up keep on the battery worry free? So when I get home I just plug it in and leave it on until I get ready to head out again? How do I know if my tm is a 24 volt or a 12 volt? As of right now there are only 2 batteries on the boat and both ( I guess ) are 12volts. From what I gather the tm is hooked up to one, and the motor/bilge/livewell/lights are all hooked up to the other. I bought this boat used from a fella last year and its my first "REAL" boat so I'm trying to learn as I go. Sorry guys I'm really out deep on this one! Thanks for your patience!

On Board Chargers??
Thanks Gambler, This is sort of a multi question thing. First of all I don't know anything about batteries and the major up keep. The only thing that I know is that red is + and black is -. Other than that I'm clueless as what to look for, what to get, what the terms mean. So on and so forth. Right now all I do is hook the batteries up to the charger when I get home. As of right now I'm just a weekend angler. My boat only gets used about once or twice a week. I hope this explains my needs better. I'm looking for the cheapest, easiest on board charger for my trolling and cranking batteries. Thanks again. P.S. Gambler thanks for your input, but everything you said was all GREEK to me! LOL I'm not a smart man. :-[

What do you pull your boats with?
Right now all I've got to haul my boat with is my Car, its a 2001 Chevy Malibu. Thank god I've only got about 5 miles to the ramp. It ain't the best way but its the only way. So if I wanna go fishing I've got to deal with the funny looks, sneers and the big rigs hogging the ramp! LOL My car does just fine just as long as I'm headed down hill with a tail wind!

How What and where?
Ok this is a request for information on a local pond that I have quick and easy bank access to. Let me start out by describing it. On the north side its a rip rap. On the west its a grassy bank to the water line and then its just shallow mud for about 5 to 6 feet out. On the south side there is some lily pads, very very shallow water and some reeds in one corner. On the east side is all mud/clay and shallow out to about 5 to 6 feet. There really isn't any structure, coves, points or cover to speak of. The lily's aren't up yet and the reeds are nearly on the bank. So here's the question's how would you and what would you fish this pond?? Note: there is somewhat heavy pressure. This pond has bass, crappie, shad, catfish and carp in it. I'm targeting Bass of course! I have caught a 4lber and a 5 lber out of this pond. Rumor has it there are bigger ones. My guess the water temp is about 48ish to 52ish. Thanks for any tips and or suggestions!!

Slow B.A.S.S.
The Customer service has been excellent for me. When I signed up for the life time membership there were a few items missing. I emailed them and within 48 hrs I got a reply with the promise that they would get the missing items out in the mail. 3 days later I received the missing items. A few months before that I had lost all of my B.A.S.S. stickers and I again emailed them telling them that I lost my order form and my stickers. Needless to say they sent me 3 new stickers free. Last but not least when I ordered my lifetime B.A.S.S. ring I orderd the wrong size, so I emailed them and they took it back and exchanged it for free and very quickly I might add!! Over all the Customer service has been great. Oh by the way I've got another story but I'll save it because you get the idea! I wish you the best of luck to ya!! I hope B.A.S.S. makes it up to you!!

What is your absolute favorite crankbait?
I'd have to say that my favorite "go to" lure would be a Rebel Crawfish.

where do you come from
North Kansas City <Smithville> Missouri. Just got me a nice used boat last fall. Caught 3 bass the first time out in the boat. I live 5 miles from Smithville Lake boat launch and 2 min. from the city pond where I have caught most of my bass bank fishing. My biggest one from there was 5 pounds. I'm a tournament wanna be.

Ok, serious question
But at the same time do humans have a sensitive lateral line running the length of our bodies?? Just a question. I've heard that bass can feel it but I don't remember where I heard that.

Fishing /Guide Shirts
As a member of the Forum, do we get a discount Glenn??? LOL ;D Great Shirt indeed. I'm no where ready for tournaments yet, I'm just looking for something that's cooler than a t-shirt but just as comfortable. As of right now I wear light colored t-shirts or go bare backed.
-
Fishing /Guide Shirts
Thats sorta what I was thinking! Thanks guys. I'm looking more for comfort rather than for looks. So I'll be ordering 1000 Metallica t-shirts!! ;D

Fishing /Guide Shirts
Well, what I ment (when I said "What are your Tourny shirts like?") was, are the shirts the same material as the regular fishing shirts?, are they as breathable? So on and So on........... LOL ;D What I really wanted to know was is it worth spending the extra money for a fishing shirt, meaning are they more comfortable and breathable than a t-shirt? ;D ;D ;D
-
Fishing /Guide Shirts
