    Welcome aboard, Dan!
  2. I would advise a beer hat rather than a mug. Lifting a mug full of suds will only serve to irritate. But you open two cans, put them in the holders on the hat, and sip away. I suppose you could put the beverage of your choice in place of beer. Therapy.....
  3. Welcome aboard!
  4. Hungry, too! Skinny, fat, who cares as long as the fight is good and fun!
  5. Beauts, every last one of 'em!

AMEN!!! And for the record, LET'S GO BUFFALO!! There, I feel better now...at least I can hope.
  7. Welcome aboard!
  8. Caught two of those little guys today! One was just around 5" measured next to my 4.75" Zoom Finesse worm he tried to engulf.
  9. I bought my Chronarch 50e on eBay from a retailer for around $170... FWIW. Brand new.
  10. Another fan of PowerPro here. I've tried (try) many brands, keep returning to it.
  11. Welcome aboard, Matt!
  12. Probably going to give the crown to wacky techniques - both weightless and weighted. By far, I catch the most bass using this technique. And since I fish for enjoyment, not a paycheck, or tournament competition, that's fine by me
  13. I don't fish the Potomac, but wow, eye opening....
  14. Welcome aboard, Rob, and thanks for your service to the country!
  15. Perhaps "never" is a bit strong, more of an opinion. While true, lighter braid will dig in, there are ways to manage that. I use 20 lb Power Pro on my Chronarch and it works fantastic. I've used as light as 10lb test on baitcasters with no problems that cannot be managed with pulling line off to eliminate digging, etc. Heavier braid probably needs less "maintenance" with regard to digging in, but is not a requirement. And that's my opinion
  16. Here's what I'd like to see: JJ's Magic in coffee scent (no garlic)! Nothing soaks it in like JJ's, so why not make it in coffee?! I'll take a free case of JJ's Magic Coffee for the idea, LOL.
  17. Indeed! I'd love a PA, but for the price of entry. Native is releasing new Ultimate models with new design and even greater stability to an already phenomenally stable kayak. If you want to stand and fish, Native Ultimates, Slayers are models to consider. The Wilderness Systems models mentioned are solid as well. But do try to either get out in each, or at the very least, see if they'll let you sit in the models to compare them. I also looked at Moken yaks, but settled on the U12 even over the WS Commander, as I much preferred the standing ability in, and seat in the U12. That's why you want to try 'em for yourself. What fits my taste may not fit yours.
  18. Heh. Was waaay back in EARLY August, to be more specific!
  19. Such things happen, and they never get any easier I broke off two big gals back in August after fighting them and getting them near the yak before they either broke the line, or spit the hook. Ugh. File it in the memory banks and move on
  20. Welcome aboard, Josh!
  21. Welcome aboard!
  22. Was just thinking about emptying my K-Cups every morning... I use about 2 a day, so that'd fill up several bags of plastics.
  23. LOL, yeah, especially if it rhymes with "spit"... But really, maybe we could get a bunch of guys to chew different flavors of sunflower seeds, collect the flavored spit and market it. ...this is going downhill fast...
