  2. I live on Hartwell. Lots of bucks running the shore and starting to make beds. A few females are starting to cruise but still staging on points and stuff. Caught some on Easter with a tube on drop offs.

  4. oh. I had always heard that shiners were the primary food source. That helps! thanks!
  5. That helps alot! thanks! I didnt know if it was like alot of lakes in FL and they focused mainly on golden shiners and stuff.

  7. I would think braid on a clear lake like Jocassee would scare them off. Fluoro leader?
  8. Does anyone on here fish Seminole?
  9. Ive never fished for them that deep. Ive always managed to find smallies cruising up on the surface in the backs of coves and around humps. Ive hooked them with jigs before on braid in about 40 feet of water in some trees by the big cliff though.
  10. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of bait fish were in Lake Seminole. Like shad and stuff.
  11. Yea i got a tournament there saturday and i HAVE to place in the money in this one to make rent lol. I was thinking a jig would be pretty productive?
  12. I would try throwing some tubes with a jig head.
  13. Buzzbaits and frogs work well too in creeks. Used to trout fish with my dad and would end up throwing bass baits and catch a ton of lm and sm bass.

  16. Anyone ever noticed that beaverdam creek is a good place on ANY lake? Like seriously ive fished alot of lakes and there is normally a Beaverdam Creek and its always a productive place. Strange.
  17. Im not sure about Chick. But I dont think its too hard to navigate a bass boat at all. I mean keep your eye on the back and motor if your in some thick stuff. Ive never had any problems and mines 21' long.
  18. Well i was going to try throwing a rat topwater i built myself. its made out of rabbit fur and wood. I slaughtered some fish with it this past summer around docks. I thought it would be good in a swampy area. I was going to be throwing jigs and soft plastics for sure too.
  19. You should get permission from the companies. But, if they arent helping you out with any kind of sponsorship, i wouldnt wear the logos.
  20. Id be throwing a lipless crankbait around staging areas.
  21. Yea i have a tournament there March 20th. Im fishing it as a Co-Angler so im trying to find ANY information i can. I thought about throwing a jig most of the time around isolated cypress trees. Spinnerbaits is a definate though. I thought it would be a little early for topwaters?
  22. Im in SC. In Greenville. No point in waiting for the water to warm up. I was out catching tournament limits in january at hartwell!
