  1. Awesome I was looking for similar thing, stuff on youtube always gets deleted because of copright lawyer crap.
  2. I'm 5 miles or so from there, I'm off eight mile. Lot of good fishing in in my area(Lake St. Clair) if you have a boat.
  3. Zara Spook, be a lot of fun dancing on the water. Until wham!
  4. yummy battery acid! Can't believe people take this crap!
  5. That's pretty crazy! Yeah I hear that you have to make meth in an open environment, most labs are in the woods.
  6. Looking good, make sure you play around with the camera and read the directions. I know my camera has a ton of different settings, these settings can matter a lot when you're taking pictures of things that are moving or in darker places.
  7. I wouldn't of caught that, pretty funny
  8. I was told by certain set of people to always get a camera with a decent size lense. The more light you can get into the camera, the clearer and higher definition the picture will be. A lot of people emphasize too much on big mega pixel these days. You really don't need to worry about mega pixel since just about every digital camera is at least 8 mega pixel. I wouldn't buy any of those small digital cameras, those are good for traveling, but if you want a professional camera get something of decent size. I bought a Sony DSC-H50 and I'm very happy with the camera. Sony makes pretty good cameras.
  9. Well they're dangerous to the eco system that's for sure. If they and the asian carp make it to the great lakes that can seriously screw things up for us fisherman. no, that is not for sure. This has been discussed thoroughly in previous threads. They have NOT had any detrimental affect on the Potomac ecosystem in the years they have been here. Hmmm, that's interesting. I think I'll take the word over scientists rather than fisherman talking on forums. No offense. There's a reason why scientists and fisherman are worried about the asian carp species. Fish that eat everything and reproduce fast can have an effect on the eco system. For instance, say you have a pond with bass and bluegill. Then fill it with a ton of pike, the effects can be devastating because the pike will eat off a lot of the other species. Thus screwing up the balance. This is kind of a bad analogy since a Pike is a native speices, but I have seen this happen in ponds. Personally I don't want them in our lake and rivers, just to be on the safe side.
  10. Ice fishing really isn't worth the risk. Especially now since global warming is messing around with weather. Over here in Michigan we never know when the ice is safe enough. The only ice I would step on is on a pond or inland lake. It's not like it used to be.

  12. Wow, looks really cool, good job!
  13. Man I can't think of the name of kayak boats that are made for fishing. Look'em up on google when you get a chance. They have built-in paddles and place where you can store your tackle box.
  14. I bought the Pelican Bass Raider boat from Sports Authority. I got it on sale for $400, it retails for around $650-$700. It has more than enough room for two adults, let alone an adult and a kid. Both my Brother and I get on it and have plenty of room, I'm 6,1 225 and he's 6,4 230. Just make sure you buy the 10 foot if you get it so you have enough room for tackle box and stuff. Problem is it's not good for rough lakes, but what small boat really is though. It's awesome for inland lakes. It fits perfectly on top of my girlfriend Durrango. I wish it was winter so I could take pictures and show you. I just put some padding up top so I don't scrape the roof. You really save a ton of money with this boat because you don't have to buy a hitch or trailer.
  15. Great to see another Michigan guy on here, welcome aboard.
  16. Houghton's definitely out of my range. I'm right next to Lake St. Clair, St. Clair Shores area. I usually fish Kent Lake. Waiting for my pops to get a bigger boat for Lake St. Clair. My Pelican Bass Raider is just a little small for the lake.
  17. Aerosmith is a great band, loved the video!
  18. Nice subtle fly fishing video, that's a nice size largemouth bass he pulled out of the water. I love that spot he was fishing at, the reeds look really cool, perfect for bass spawning.
  19. Yeah, I might give that one a try. Maybe Berkley's Vanish too.
  20. One word wow, that pice is a beaut! You just catch monster fish don't you? Jealous, lol. I can't belive the size of that smallmouth in your pic, it looks bigger than D.L. Hayes smallmouth bass.
  21. I heard the same, it's probably because they eat everything in the lake. I can't wait to try one!
  22. They are the most hideas looking fish ever, definitely remind me of a bowfin. But, these fish are so much more agressive. I remember seeing one in a fish tank tear apart a largemouth bass on YouTube, really a sad site to see. I hope these scoundrels don't enter the lake where I am, we already have to worry about asian carp.
