  1. Good movie, can't remember how times I watched that movie over and over again. One of my favorites off the top of my head is Predator
  2. AWESOME!!!! That's why I love fishing! Why was he venting the fish? That was a bass right? I never had to vent a bass ever in my entire life. The only fish I think you have to vent in freshwater is muskie. [edit]Edited to remove profanity. (Family site guys - keep it clean)[/edit]
  3. They sure are an ugly fish, just hope they don't take over the Great Lakes. Great to hear they are good fighters.
  4. I second keeping them in plastic bags. When I was younger I use to put them in plastic cartridges in the bottom of my Plano box. Had a few melt downs. I think they stay cooler in plastic bags, I could be wrong though.
  5. Fish are moving to slow for something like that, but you could give a try. If you do I would reel them really slow.
  6. Not a bad idea, I bet that would be great to troll with for Walleyes and Pike. Never used them before, price is a bit high though.
  7. Never heard of them or seen them at the bait shop. I call it a marketing scheme! "UV" Yeah, that's a nice touch. I wouldn't mind trying them, but $6 for two units. Um no!
  8. When you going? It's still pretty freezing out. I live in Michigan, wondering when it's a good time to start catching smallies. I'm right near Lake St. Clair(connected to Lake Erie)
  9. Whatsup, great to have a Cali fisherman aboard.
  10. Great to have you aboard, good luck and Canada, it definitely has some great places to fish at.
  11. I was never good at this, 2-6 would be around around 2 pounds.
  12. Mine is in the deep area of lake st. clair, just loaded with monster smallmouth bass.
  13. Looks like the guys using a bobber, there's better bubbles out there, more aerodynamic that make less of a wake. The technique is awesome though, works great for crappie and bluegill.
  14. I really want to try it, I could go for a large pizza right about now. I usually go with either Jets or Hungry Howies. I definitely want to give Dominos a try now since they changed their recipe.
  15. That's a classic!
  16. Wow that's definitely a bold statement
  17. Awesome, start'em off young. As soon as you can get a fishing pole in his or her hands! Congrats! :exclamation
  18. It's kind of hard to pick out a particular species of fish ice fishing. I'm sure there are some ways though.
  19. I use crankbaits in summer time and, they are bit too fast for springtime. I like using dark colors, I never used really bright colors before. Freshwater minnows don't really have bright colors like chartreuse on them anyways. I would go with a Bomber. Choose a shad like color, I also like the bass and rainbow looking crankbait.
  20. Nice size largemouth, looks like you guys had fun.
  21. Two favorites are bomber crankbaits or beetle spins for smallmouth
  22. Whatsup Bob, hope you enjoy the site.
  23. 8 pound Largemouth Bass caught on a Beetle Spin
