I just cant wait till my dad gets that new lowrance installed. Im tired of looking at our pac man garmins lol its frustrating some times. And i definitely know we're not going to melones for awhile,its gonna be Mcclure until spring lol.I also hope my dad gets that lowrance hooked up before next week because he's leaving to Vancouver on Monday for work

Not true based on my personal experience. Lol again, i dont know a whole lot about smallies,well atleast from the catching perspective.It just always seems like the 5 pounders i see them catch on tv don't do as much as the 3 or 4s

Finally got out for the first time this year.Went to Melones and got skunked.Just mostly tried drop shotting. I hope its not some sort of a bad *** lol i need a good year after the one we just had. Water temp was 50 to 52 throughout the day. It was never really sunny, the lake was stuck in a fog bank throughout most of the day. Since the bite wasn't really there we just decided to go home earlier and watch football lol

Uhhhh i dont think KVD has to worry about putting food on his familys table? lol.And he doesn't make all his money from sponsors buddy.That 4 million plus cha-ching is from winning and succeeding in tournaments.Itd be hard for him to do that with equipment that he didn't trust and couldn't rely on.Yes some people will go to sponsors for money,but not to the extent they are going to jeopardize their career.And its not like he's the only one with quantum. Theyre are a lot of other well known pros that have quantum. He could have any sponsor he wants and im sure there are other ones willing to pay more. Quantum is a very good brand,i love their reels and im not the only one i can tell you that

Haha awesome!Stripers are by far one of the strongest fish pound for pound,and definitely in freshwater.But hopefully we're gonna go tomorrow for the first time lol and hopefully this upcoming weak we'll get our new lowrance hooked up thatll help with the drop shotting

mmmmm... i dont think so lol a 2 pounder fighting as hard as a 5?ive never noticed really a difference between them,although i havent caught many smallmouth. The largemouth we have out here fight excellently,especially the ones in the delta because they have to fight current. I think that yes smallies can be more acrobatic,and they use more tail movement,but i think largemouths have more pull. I just think a 2 pounder compared to a 5 pounder is a little too much,but maybe its different in other places and i also havent caught many smallmouth. Sorry if i might be being biased because largemouth is my favorite lol. But the fish over here fight extremely well, i think Please smallmouth fanatics dont chew the crap out of me for my opinion lol without a doubt pound for pound small mouth fight harder than largemouth. I love fishing for both, but the I think the main difference is the fighting style a lot of times largemouth will swim up making the easier to bring in, but the majority of smallies I have caught will dive and dive especially when they get close to the boat. Now if it is 2 to 5? not too sure about that but 3 to 5? I think thats a fair comparison. mmmm..maybe lol.Idk i still think itd be even with a delta largemouth those guys are a lot feistier than the ones up in our lakes. And we've caught quite a few 4 plus pound fish at the delta,and they dont mess around lol theyre straight beast.Plus the delta is like cover trees vegetation galore hahaha that doesn't help out much.I really would like to go to lake erie or something and bed fish for smallies that looks awesome! And just another comment here,it seems like from what ive seen on tv, the 3 to 4 pound smallies fight harder than the bigger 5 pound plus smallies.It seems like they have more energy

Quantum is one of the top reel brands.Just cause theyre owned by zebco doesnt mean anything. I mean for what zebcos are, theyre great. Its not like theyre junk im sure they make the best spincasters. Quantum makes great products.Very stylish,smooth, and durable.As for nitro boats,they also are very nice,just not a ranger or triton or basscat. Nitros have a lot of bells and whistles which is one reason theyre good boats. But when it comes to things like speed, theyre not that great. They go fast dont get me wrong, just not as fast as other top brands. I also think they look pretty nice.I would just rather have a ranger or triton if i had the choice,but would very happily take one if offered ;D Pros wouldnt take a bad sponser just because of the money.They rely on that product to do what they do every day.They also pick things they are more comftorable with. I mean a rod could be a higher quality than another but you may feel more comfortable with the less one. I dont think they would risk their career over a little less money.Cause im sure winning tournaments will provide a little more money than what an average sponser will pay you in a year

Im a Broncos and Chargers fan and hate the raiders with every inch of my body lol but i think that was a stupid decision seeing how the raiders have totally sucked since 2002 and now they finally did alright.Heck they showed my teams up this year.The broncos sucked but i think them beating the Chargers that last game was a fluke lol you can't beat Rivers
