  1. SICK O's
  2. Does color play a big role on the topwater bite?
  3. Just missed being a state record. If she could've founf certified scales the evening she caught the fish "they say" it would've been a new record.
  4. I'm happy to report that the repaired reels performed flawlessly. No more slipping of the brake dial. Thanks again! ;D
  5. I recieved the replacement c-rings from Pinnacle along with a bonus spare spool. Greg included some easy to follow instructions on how to replace the c-rings and I had the reels repaired in no time at all. I have'nt had the chance to use the reels yet but I plan to try them out this coming weekend. Thanks Pinnacle & Greg for your attention to customer service.
  6. I too use the Chatter Baits. The pure poison seems to run a little deeper than the Booyah or the original Chatter bait. Favorite colors are white and black & blue with a split tail trailer. I looking foward to trying one with a fluke instead of a skirt. Might just have to try that out on Toledo Bend next weekend.
  7. Greg at Pinnacle gave me a call after I sent him an email. He is sending out the replacement parts to correct the issue. The fix seems to be as simple as a stronger C ring. I'll post an update after I get the parts installed on the reels. To this point I'm very impressed with the customer service from Pinnacle.
  8. Thanks for the quick reply. I will be getting in touch with Greg in your customer service dept. very soon. I'm one happy customer.
  9. I have several pinnicle baitcasting reels with the internal brake dial feature. I love these reels except for one thing...I have a problem with the brake dial holding it's set position. I can set it on say #4 and after a number of casts the reel will begin to backlash. When I open the side plate to inspect the brake dial position, it has slipped all the way to the #1 (loosest) position. Is there a way to tighten or adjust the dial so it won't slip during use? I've even resorted to using a tiny piece of tape to hold the dial in place but after a while even this does'nt hold. Like I say I LOVE my Pinnicles....If only I could find a fix for this issue.
