  1. Great tutorial, very well said! Thanks, Good fishing!
  2. Power Pro works great. I also really like Vicious braid! Have a great weekend....
  3. Great job! You can adjust the tension knob on the reel to avoid backlashing. Takes time and practice throwing different baits, sizes/weight etc.. keep after it you're on the right track! Good Fishing!
  4. We introduced our new Hand Tuned reels and Perfecta DHC5 Micro Rods In Las Vegas last week at the ICAST show. Please visit us on Facebook for some great behind the scenes pictures with our staff and pros. Thank you! Pinnacle Fishing http://www.facebook.com/#!/pinnacle.fishing?sk=wall&filter=2
  5. Hi Sam, Sorry for the delay in answering your question. There will be a loss of transfer of energy since the rod is not a 1 piece. How much of a loss? Very hard to quantify the exact amount. The telescopic models were designed for those that wanted to fish longer rods but storage posed a problem. Hope this helps and good fishing!
  6. Thanks for your recent post/inquiry. The rod you mentioned (model UB662CAM) is a "private label" rod (rod model Pinnacle made specifically for a larger retailer). That's why it's not included in the general product line offerings featured at the Pinnacle website. It is indeed a Pinnacle product. It's a value-priced 6 1/2' , medium-action graphite composite casting rod designed primarily for bass fishing. Best regards and Good Fishin', Pinnacle1
  7. Ima Bass Ninja: Thanks for your recent post and positive feedback. Our Optimus XT model reels, along with the rest of Pinnacle's new Tournament Class offerings, are awesome! We are in the process of working out which specific retailers/dealers will be carrying our new Tournament Class reels and rods. For now, you should be able to purchase any desired Pinnacle TC products online at ***.com. Best regards and Good Fishin', Pinnacle1

  12. Thanks for your recent post. That is the case, it's up to Walmart as to which Pinnacle reels they carry in their Puerto Rico stores. We will let our contacts at Walmart know, however, that we have received consumer feedback requesting more Pinnacle products within there stores in that area. Tight Lines, Pinnacle1
  13. Clancy: Thanks for your recent post at the Pinnacle Forum. The reel you mentioned (Pro Series Limited PLS150 Casting Reel) is a "private label" model made by Pinnacle exclusively for Academy Outdoors. Since this is a private label reel, you won't find it included in Pinnacle's general product lineup or catalog. Best regards and Happy Holidays, Pinnacle1
  14. SmokeRise1: Thanks for your recent post at the Pinnacle forum. We are currently in the process of redesigning our Pinnaclefishing.com website. That being the case, a few of our baitcasters in the price range you mentioned (such as the Solene and Platinum Plus models) have yet to be posted. We are making updates to the site as we speak, and expect to have these models posted and available shortly. In the meantime, you can always purchase the Solene and other value-priced Pinnacle baitcaster offerings at Walmart or online at the Walmart website (www.walmart.com). Thank you for your patience during our site redesign. Good Fishing! Pinnacle1
  15. Breadman: Thanks for your recent post and inquiry. We should be able to provide you with the one-way roller bearing you need. Please check with our customer service manager, Greg Imlay, to confirm availability and order the appropriate part. You can reach Greg via e-mail at customerservice@pinnaclefishing.com. We look forward to being of service. Regards, Pinnacle1
  16. Kyntucky Warmouth: According to our records, Bassresource.com member, seyone, from Levittown, PA, won the Perfecta DHC5-721SPM spinning model. Pinnacle1
  17. Josh Bassman: Thanks for your recent post. We should have our new Perfecta Tournament Class rods available online (at the www.PinnacleFishing.com site) within a month (we're in the process of redesigning our site and posting our new-for-2011 products. ***.com will also be offering selected Perfecta models shortly. If you're looking for a spinning model for the applications mentioned, either the Perfecta DHC5-701SPML or DHC5-721SPM would be an excellent choice. If you prefer casting rods, I'd go with a DHC5-661CAM or DHC5-681CAM. Good Fishing, Pinnacle1
  18. Great Mctech. Best of luck on Guntersville. I hear it's a great lake. Please let us know how your Pinnacle Perfecta rod performs. Hopefully, you'll be able to post a few pix of some nice bucketmouths. Pinnacle1
  19. Mctech: Thanks for your recent post. Pinnacle's new Tournament Class reels should be available at select dealers around late fall 2010. We are currently in the process of determining which specific dealers will be carrying our products. If your local dealer doesn't carry them, please put in a request. You will be able to purchase these reels online at tackle e-tailers such as www.***.com, or directly through the www.Pinnaclefishing.com website. Thanks again for your interest. Believe me, these reels are worth waiting for. They're definitely professional-grade...and they match up beautifully with our Perfecta rods. Good Fishing, Pinnacle1
  20. Maltese Falcon: Thanks for posting your review. We're glad to hear you're impressed by the quality and performance of your new Tournament Class Perfecta DHC5-701CAMCB rod. Just an FYI...the reason our Perfecta rods are so light and sensitive, but also exceptionally strong, is Double Helical Construction (DHC5). This is a proprietary construction process that involves wrapping layers of high-density carbon tape, in opposite directions, around a uni-directional, high-modulus graphite prepreg "core." DHC5 allows us to eliminate glass scrim and a significant amount of resin for a dramatic reduction in weight and maximum sensitivity, without sacrificing power or durability. These rods will be availabe at select tackle dealers and online tackle retailers around late fall 2010. You'll also be able to purchase them online at the Pinnacle website (www.Pinnaclefishing.com). ; Tight Lines, Pinnacle1
  21. B-Dozer: Thanks for the suggestion. We have no immediate plans to introduce such a reel, but if the demand is there, we'll consider doing so in the near future. Tight Lines, Pinnacle1
  22. Maltese Falcon: Thanks for posting your review. We're glad to hear you're impressed by the quality and performance of your new Tournament Class Perfecta DHC5-701CAMCB rod. 23. b.lee: Not sure when K.W. will be able to answer, so hope you guys don't mind if I jump in. The guides on Pinnacle's new Tournament Class Perfecta rods are Fuji "New Concept" Alconite guides. As far as the handles go, they're made of lightweight yet durable AAA, premium-quality Portuguese cork. Good Fishin', Pinnacle1
  24. Speedbead. Thanks for posting an excellent review. We're glad you're impressed with the quality and performance of your new Perfecta rod. In your review, you noted that this heavy action swimbait rod was as sensitive as your G. Loomis BCR854 GLX. That really says something about the Perfecta DHC5-7112CAHSB, especially since the G. Loomis model mentioned is a 7' casting rod, compared to our rod...a 7' 11" heavy action model made for swimbaits, flipping/pitching and frogs! You can imagine how sensitive our lighter 7' Perfecta casting rods are. Also, it should be noted that the price of the Loomis rod mentioned is $395 (at Amazon.com). Our Perfecta rods retail for $159.99 to $189.99. You could buy two Perfectas, and still have some change left over for line and lures! Best regards and Good Fishing! Pinnacle1
