Same here Long Mike--no secrets on our purchases---found out a lot of years ago that trying to keep a secret on buying something was more hurtful to her than the spending of the money so we both buy things and there are no secrets--works well for us anyway and we have been married 42 years

X2 on the 7' and 7'10" crankbait rods of Skeets--I have found them to be pretty good rods for my crankbait fishing---only 2 i\I have though can not commrnt on the other rods in his line

Mann's still sells their jelly worm and augertail on their website--they are going to make special run on junebug and green pumpkin--ordred a 100 count bag of both today in 6" today---INMO still best worms going

I have the Diesel and it makes a great worm rod--love it--you would not go wrong with it for a worm rod IMO

A REALLY BIG reel!!! Sure seems pretty high to ship a reel---I know they charge extra for rods but that is amazing to charge that much for a reel--JMO

Can you still buy those? I've used those, and done well doing so. But, it's been a long time since I've either had any, or seen any. I have a big bunch of them even in colors no longer made ( like motor oil shad ), since I liked them so much I hoarded a "few" packs. As you mention, they lost popularity to other baits and many dealers no longer carry them so they are hard to get unless you order them directly from Mann 's. You are right--nearly impossible to find anymore--glad you can order direct from Mann's at very reasonable shipping--augertail is one of the best worms ever dragged in front of a bass--IMO--
