  3. Next Generation Bass Club based in Baton Rouge Louisiana is changing to a team format. We will fish Bayou Black twice, Manchac twice, Lake Cataouatche twice, Des Allemand twice, Lake Concordia once and one nite tournament at False River. Yearly dues per team will be $120 and entry fee per tournament will be $60 per team. 5 fish limit, 1/2 pound deduction for each dead fish weighed in and no grace period on clock. If either member can't fish a tournament, then the remaining member can bring a guest to fish with him or her for that tournament. Tournaments will start in February and the last one will be in October. Each year in March returning members that have fished over half of our tournaments are eligable for an expense paid trip to Toledo Bend with payouts for all teams. Our dues and proceeds from tournaments and raffles make a trip like this possible. This is our fifth year as a club, most members have been with us since the begining. We welcome you to fish with your wife, sons or daughters as this is a family oriented club, hence the name NEXT GENERATION BASS CLUB. FEEL FREE TO CALL ME AT 985-320-6840 FOR MORE INFORMATION...........MIKE STARLING 8-)
  4. Proper maintenance will take you a long ways. My 1994 Champion has been all over the southeastern U.S. in 18 years, never having a problem with the original bearings. A shot or two of grease after every backdown will protect them sufficiently, or maybe I'm just lucky. But if you want to change bearings, races and seals after each season thats your decision. If I was in Jacks shoes, I'd probably do that myself.........Mike 8-)
  5. Huntin, whitetail deer specifically.......Mike 8-)

  7. Thats great J Francho, we also have a classic in Feb. or March at Toledo Bend with no entry fee or motel bills(all paid for thru club dues, raffles and tournament fees) everyone that fishs it goes back home with a payout no matter where you place. It's a great time.....Mike 8-)
  8. Well guys, hunting season is almost here and most of the clubs are winding down for the season. What's your standing in your clubs AOY race. After a hard fought race for my clubs AOY, I finally, for the first time won AOY, by about 7 pounds. We have Ten tournaments a year and if you want to win you had better not miss a one. So how did everyone else do, let us know.....Mike 8-)

  16. Genetic mutation, the bottom jaw is obviously longer than it should be and the top is shorter than it should be. Things like this happen all the time in the Animal Kingdom, they just usually don't survive long enough for us to observe them......... 8-)
  17. Main lake points-18' to 22' of water, t-rigged 10" Power Worms in Watermelon Pearl or Motor Oil. Sometimes on dark days it pays to put in a rattle or blue glass bead.......Mike 8-)
  18. Bait Monkey whispered in my ear "Get me two each of those Larry Dahlbergh baits and I will ease up on you a little while, maybe." What's a guy supposed to do....Mike 8-)
