  1. I've never had a problem with mepps aglia dressed #3 (1/4 oz I think). As long as the hooks are sharp you will have no problem
  2. Many years go I used z-man, but I too was unhappy with the hook. Never used the SK Pure Poision. I ended up with the BOOYAH Boogee in the white color. Never had a problem with the BOOYAH and if I start throwing these alot again I'll be going back to them.
  3. Thanks for the response. I've seen this spinnerbait online but figured it was some sort of gimmick than I didn't understand. I've always been open to trying different brands but I was unsure of this one.
  4. How do you like this spinnerbait? Any advantage to this over a regular spinnerbait?
  5. Thank you.
  6. So I can mark spots I find and find my way back to the lodge easily. For my yearly trip to Canada. I do not do tournaments. I'm no trying to steal fishing spots. Just looking for a problem free handheld and decent lake maps
  7. I'm looking for suggestions for a good handheld and maps for the gps. Thank You
  8. Ok that is just cool
  9. I have had good luck with Cavitron too. I really like the top props. I use The blue shad color mostly, and always use a trailer hook or else you get alot of misses. The best part of it is when you get a short strike you can stop reeling and it floats, and you will get them when they hit again.
  10. Thanks for the replys. I think I am going to give it a try, it really cannot hurt any. Will have to do a search to see if I can find the mentioned artical. Thanks again
  11. I was looking at the mepps catalog and saw that you can get treble hooks or single hooks on all there lures. My question is has anyone tried a single hook on a inline spinner or a spoon before? How well did it work out in compairison to the "normal" tremble hook set-up. Thanks
