wow super great work on the aluminum, does the aluminum get slippery when wet, and does it get hot in the summer. also the front hatches were very nice, I probably would have put in more compartments because I'm a organization freak.

How should I carpet the floors? and what is your ideas for some seats?

I am seriously about to buy a 10 foot jon, my question is storage, For being only 15 I have quite a bit of tackle and a half a dozen rods. So how can I put it all in the boat, and have it organized? I was going to deck the front and make hatches but I think that would add too much weight so what do you think? oh and I would also add some plywood carpeted floors in between the seats. and what should I do for seats? BTW I am going to transport this in a full size bed pickup.

you coul make mid dexks out of reinforced sealed and carpeted plywood then make a deck in the fron or back with some storage hatches and a few rod holders, also some padded seats on the little wise swivels is nice too.

Alright, thanks senko man, And does any one know how or if it is a good idea to build a shell?

well, It has your typical amount of rust, just some be the wheel wells, and a little in some holes in the bed, Would a liner be a good option, How much are they? and Also I was considering making my own shell, that way I could make in higher in places. for more head riim, I also saw some plans for the Platform. And how should I make the cap water tight to the bad? Rubber strips? And I saw on youtube tha a guy attached a cap to his truck with small C-Clamps. Is that a good Idea? Thanks for the help guys.

I honestly wouldn't want to spend the money for a foot control but that's me, one of my buddies put a peice of plack PVC on the end of a 40 pound Minn Kota transom motor so that way if he shifts his body he can turn the Raider, Just my .02

I want the shell so that way I can show up to camp and walk to the back of the truck and have every thing setup, also you need to clear out the whole bed for some of the tents.

Alright, I am going to be driving soon and my dad is going to give me his 87 Chevy Custom Deluxe. I has a chipping spray in liner and, and old board in the bed, I want to fix it up some and camp in it, I only have a few hundred bucks and want to build a platform and shell for it, can any one help me with this? also would I be better of with buying a cheap used shell, i just cant find one that would fit my truck. Also does any one have a way to clean the bed out and get all the gunk and peeled paint out of it?

So how would a jon boat be better? heard that v boats are more stable. would a row boat or jon boat fit into a mini truck like a ford ranger? Thanks for all your help you guy are helping me allot.

I was going to get a kayak, but I have a fishing buddy who I like to hang out with and so I would like to take him along and I live just outside of Philadelphia in willow grove. Is their any thing I should need to know about this or any boats that are better than others?

I just got back from scout camp and bought these creme scoundrels in black and purple I threw them T rigged on a offset shank hook and cought some small largemouth, nothing over 3 lb's just curios if any one used these or if you have a good way to fish these.

Hey I just go t back from scout camp and was fishing out of a rowboat the whole week, A 12 foot smoker craft, with a mushroom anchor, Just curious if you thought It may be a good Idea to get one for home It' looks like I can get a nice little used rig of craigs list or ebay, and also should I get a trailer or just transport it in my dads truck or ontop of his SUV. I will be driving next year so I will have a truck of my own (with and eight foot bed) so what do you all think of this?

Just was fishing and I was killing it I may have cought about 20 fish, I used the yellow/orange and bubblegum.

Just got the neon trout magnet kit, trout powerbait(rainbow) a kastmaster, arkie jigs, and a bomber craw crankbait

Just got back from a two hour frenzy, they were killing the power bait, Orange glitter dough and chartreuse nuggets!, Gott get some more, Has anyone ever tried some of the neon yellow mashmallows, or the power eggs, and also is gulp trout bait and berkly trout bait the same?
