Fishing kayak
I was going to get something like that vest, Just in PFD form. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10213767_225017001_225000000_225017000_225-17-1 And that's a nice rig you have there, I just want to make something inside the boat, In case I do flip.

Fishing kayak
Well I was at dicks the other day (feeding my tackle obsession) And noticed they were getting their spring stuff in which included kayaks. They have a sit inside for 200 on sale It's called the potomac, and on their website. I realized that a fishing yak would be the best solution, It's portable, Light, manueverable, And CHEAP, my dad and I could even have our own, rigged to our liking. I want to keep this simple, Maybe a fishfinder when I get some spare cash but I was wonderring about my tackle storage, Because It's a sit inside You cant put a milk crate behind you and I prefer a sit inside because they are easier to paddle, I was thinking about leaving my gear in my tackle back and slide that behind my seat, And have a small tray to hold some "go to" lures. Is this a good Idea? And also whats a good Idea for a rod holder? I wouldn't be trolling, I just need something to transport my rods with, What a good product, I can also rig something out of PVC too.

Baitcasting line
Well, I am soon to get a baitcaster, A shimano combo at my local tackle shop, Now I need to find a good line, I have heard allot about braid. I want to use it as my jig, spinnerbait, frog, ETC rod. What kind of line do you think. And if I choose braid, do I need a flouro leader?

newbe canoe question
I would register it, Then you don't need a launch permit and can just be safe about it, And as always have enough life jackets for the people on board, I have an "angler" est that is more comfortable that a normal one so I can wear it all the time when in my friends canoe. You never know

Spinning or Baitcasting for Senko
A 3 inch wacky senko I use finesse tackle, A 4 inch senko I use medium spinning, and for 5 inch, and any weighted Texas I use casting.

Plastic rig
yea then i guess they are jerkbaits.
-
Plastic rig
They look like the YUM Money Hound, A topwater that you rig texas style (weightless) that you jerk accros the surface (lily pads, grass beds). Let me know if it floats.

Well, How do you organize your tackle? Box, Trays, Binders? what works for you? Post a Pic if you can. I'll start, A plano 4 tray bag, Discontinued, ON sale at dicks, For 8 dollars, Uses 3650 trays, A tray of terminal tackle, And a tray of hard lures, Then two trays of soft plastics I have a picture below From left: Nail Clippers on lanyard, Fishing knot Diagrams, Stringer, Pliers, P-Line Flouroclear 12LB. And the tackle bag, of course. And This will of course continue to GROW!!!
