  1. This morning I caught three 4 pound bass, one five pound bass, and two 2 pound bass all in less than 3 hours. Heres my two biggest...
  2. ive caught a handful 5+ pounders this year and not done yet. i fish a 100 year old lake close to me. i average 3-4 pounds every other week. i always catch atleast 3 fish each trip. i dont over fish it. i go once a week if that. noone fishes it because its weeded up but i come prepared. ive caught two 5 pounders on beds on another lake this spring. i always change my lures. if i get bit or lose a fish i throw something else different out there. i learn new things each time i go out. my biggest 6 pound 1oz was caught pre spawn this year.
  3. thanks guys ill check into that ebay seller when he comes back from vacation.
  4. I'm using them more and more and it's cheaper to buy in bulk and I'd like to help out a fellow member. I use mostly 5". If anyone does lemme know how much, what colors, and etc...I use paypal. If you sell on ebay link me or know any good sellers on ebay. Thanks!
  5. i do agree the culprit 10" worms are durable and fish hold on.
  6. wow red shad is the only color ive tried by culprit i guess ill have to grab some more seems like a winner
  7. Ive been hooked on the Culprit 10" worms. Pretty tough. Was thinking about using some Zoom Ol' Monster worms. Anyone have any favorites and good colors?

my dad uses it. he wasnt getting many bites the other day and sprayed some scent on a dinger and first cast caught his first 5lber
  9. i can wait i just want a work horse rod for whatever i wanna throw on it. i only have 4 rod/reels at the moment but im always throwing something different on each one and id like to have one good combo i can throw anything on. just looking to get a rod for about $100 at the most.
  10. yeah ive seen a few pros using the veritas also
  11. i was being cheap one day and bought this combo. is this the blue reel? if so, it isnt great at all. i have the worst problems with backlashes on this reel. it stays at home. its a small compact reel ive used a few times and brought in fish no problem but its so hard to get it adjusted.
  12. id probably start hanging up some grass on purpose and make holes to throw things in. i dealt with this before but the whole pond i fished was full of weeds from top to bottom and i had to make holes. i threw some 6" zoom worms in the holes and caught plenty of fish. braid, also helps cut through the rubble while pulling fish out of it
  13. if your tired of catching small ones let some go
  14. Ive had my eye on the three of these and looking to make up a super lightweight baitcast combo. Which would you guys prefer? Im interested in picking one up for use with most lures/techniques. What size/weight would be good?
  15. just started using senkos (or yum dingers) also. i fish a pressured lake and most of the time they only want that. sometimes im lucky and catch a few with my 10" culprit original worm. my dad caught his first 5lb bass on a 4" dinger. lost it the other day, came back and caught it again the next day.
  16. ive used p-line floroclear and it has more stretch than mono to me. ive used it numerous times with kvd line conditioner. it casts decent but the stretch is so bad. line memory was alright. i wanted to ease into using flouro but that made me go back to mono for now.
  17. ive always used low-vis green line or clear line for my senkos. either way i catch fish. i did notice that my dad used cajun line on his senko rod and i caught more fish than him and we used the same color senko and area fishing and we fish in very murky water.
  18. Are they any good? bps has them for $79 and someone locally wants to sell me a new combo for $45. Browning® Fishing Stalker Baitcast Rod and Reel Combo
  19. soft plastics showed me what ive been missing. ive only started using them maybe 2 years ago and i learn something new each fishing trip with them and catch more and more fish with them.
  20. red shad culprit 10" original worm
  21. i use culprit 10" worms in red shad and usually use a heavy enough bullet weight to drop through the cover and not get caught up. fish grab em so quick. i need to get some more colors. ive got one left out of a 10pk in a week.
  22. weightless texas rigged senko is my go-to bait for heavy weeds. that or a 10" texas rigged worm.
  23. i was bank fishing so im sure it had to have been low oxygen theres a mess of weeds in the lake i fish
  24. hey ive been using 4/0 hooks lately and having great hook ups but sometimes the action sucks and ive caught plenty nice quality fish from the bank myself. i mainly use the 5" senko. all my hooks are from bps. very sharp durable hooks.
  25. I caught a 4lb bass a week ago and it looks healthy other than the red on the fins and tail. What would cause that?
