  1. yeah i have heavy cover when its summer time but my plan is to have a rig with braid and a rig with fluoro occasionally ill fish somewhere with submerged vegetation what are some decent fluoro lines under $15 in the 15-20lb range?
  2. fluoro-no more than $15 a spool braid-ill use power pro
  3. i have all baitcasters just wanna have atleast 2 rigged for jigs. figured id do one with braid and one with fluoro.
  4. what about if im just casting open water?
  5. For jigs? Just started using them and realized mono wasn;t working for me lol. Had a reel rigged up with 17lb mono and caught my first jig fish and lost a few bites. I don't really fish "heavy" cover, or atleast until summer comes around. Would 15-20lb fluorocarbon be a good line for all around jig fishing? casting/flipping What about yo zuri hybrid for jigs? what #?
  6. I have a abu garcia silver max i used it all summer fine and i used it for the first time today since last year and the anti reverse is going out and the spool is going backwards. what could have caused this or what can i do to fix it?
  7. Caught this little booger on a walmart black/blue 3/8oz football jig with a rage chunk in deep water. He hit it on the fall, bumped it twice. Never had the patience for jigs until today

Just started really using them today and caught my first bass of 2012! I was using a black/blue 3/8oz football jig with a rage chunk on it casting in deep water near a dam. Lost a few fish, got some good bites. Whats the most common jig style you guys use and what size(s)? casting/flipping/football/ ? The two lakes I fish both are different obviously. One has a rocky/grassy bottom. The other is mostly grassy bottom. The rocky/grassy one is deeper and its where I caught my first jig bass. I don't have a boat so anywhere I go I have to bank fish.
  11. im gonna use 12 pound p line fluoroclear on a baitcaster tomorrow with a 1/4oz or 3/8oz finesse jig. i hate the line but i have a whole spool figured id try it out for my finesse presentations
  12. ive lost my biggest fish on a jig last summer, so im making sure its my new technique to learn more this year also
  13. went to my local one yesterday and only a few lures were clearanced and not much else
  14. p line fluro clear to me isnt that great i got some 12lb on one of my reels. it is stretchy but casts smooth with some line conditioner. i wouldnt buy again im sticking with yo zuri hybrid
  15. ahhh this would be a perfect bait to throw in a bed
  16. i just put one on a weighted 2/0 or 3/0 hook i had forgotten i bought them on some 20lb power pro braid so do i drag this on the bottom like i would with a pegged weight on it? or how do i fish it?
  17. bought a pack the other day they look durable. was gonna throw them on light casting gear and texas rigged light. would this be a good smaller lure for this time of year? maybe try and put it on a shakey head.
  18. yeah i seen the 600 yd spools are good prices
  19. thats what i was thinking if they are lifetime warrantied it shouldnt matter about a receipt or anything obviously noone else makes h2o products
  20. yeah was thinkin about telling them i got it a while back and dropped it and its acting up maybe ill talk to a store manager
  21. looks like #12 is the way to go for me i do have an extra h2o mettle reel waiting for line and a rod...picking up one of there ethos rods this weekend along with some hybrid line
  22. Do they have one? i have one of their reels that was dropped and the shaft that holds the drag control, handle etc. is bent and it catches when you reel. I dont have a receipt or packaging because I got it from a buddy who didnt wanna deal with it and bought a new one. I figured i could save it if they fixed it for me or replaced it.
  23. sometimes when i dont spray line conditioner the night before i head out it gets all unwound when i try and cast and when i use conditioner it casts perfect. it helps big time
  24. abrasion resistance would be nice because i throw everything anywhere i think fish could be and i fish deep or shallow and need sensitivity and abrasion resistance and low memory is always a plus
  25. i normally use trilene xl 14 or 17lb because its so easy to manage
