  3. Hey, just wanted to FYI you guys… theres actually 2 ways to get free stuff from Trokar. Figured I’d share this with you all… First way. go to http://www.lazertrokar.com/hook-survey finish the survey and they’ll send you a pack of free trokar hooks, I believe they are mag ewg mag worm 3/0… Also the big package, go to http://www.lazertrokar.com/team-trokar Take the quiz… if you guys want a little study guide go to http://www.lazertrokar.com/faqs For the answers… I hear it takes up to 3 weeks for delivery, but free is for me, and I seen on youtube videos of some guys getting their stuff in…I think in the quiz they send you a hat, a decal, a sticker and the 15 pro pack
  4. Went to a local one in my old neighborhood got some rage toads for $2.50 a pack, some zoom craws and others for $1.75 a pack. Few strike king jigs for $1 each. So many gamakatsu hooks for $2 or less a pack. Lots of stuff was gone. I got the last pack of rage toads.
  5. keep throwing whatever you use in the bed to tick them off. they will pick it up and put it out of the bed and sometimes they eat out of aggression and you can take advantage of this. i was casting into a bed with 3 lm last year and throwing a 3/16 white spinnerbait threw the weeds into the bed and stopping and letting it fall right in front of them. i did make 100 casts and finally two of the 3 lm came out of the bed
  6. i caught tons of lm last summer with senkos and 10" worms both texas rigged. thats all i took with me when i hit the lake. yum dingers are a cheaper alternative to senkos.
  7. i think the newer zebcos are decent but the old ones are always the best. i do wanna get a good catfish rig. i have hand me downs.
  8. So windy but what a beautiful day. In the low to mid 70s. My local water hole was still muddy and dingy so I didn't wanna take all day to get one bite for a LM. Took my catfish rigs with me and some chicken livers caught 8 eating size cats. Lost one I couldnt reel in with my trusty ol' zebco 33. Good day.
  9. lake looks familiar but i could be wrong...
  10. seriously? thats is all i use. i use it to paint chipped up jig heads. cant beat it

  12. lately more subtle plastics is what the fish want
  13. planning on t rigging either one or throwing on a jig head
  14. went to the lake today and caught 2 good fish had a few bites on the yum mighty bug. i wanted to add some more good craws since i really have my most luck with craws on my lake. debating between the two. i have rage craws too.
  15. mostly darker colors
  16. when it hits spring im waiting to go to allatoona. caught plenty of 4-5 lbers on beds. banks were trashed with weeds but had open pockets and channels where they would set up. the local lake i go to now i didnt start fishing there til last summer and it was fantastic. i can imagine spring time.
  17. who else makes some good ones other than yamamoto? i got some bare football jigs i wanna put some hula grubs on and try them out. is there a cheaper alternative?
  18. So the weather here is great. Looks like the next month is gonna be in the 50s on up to the mid 70s and fluctuating. The lows bounce too. nothing lower than the 30s and peak in the 60s during the nights. Rain some. With the weather so crazy like it is, how much can a jig produce and where? deep, shallow? im sure bass get thrown off with the weather. this week is steady in the mid 60s to mid 70s and lows in the 50s & 60s. im already fishing in a pressured lake but my trusty jigs have been producing lately.
  19. rage chunks or rage craws. they last a few fish on a good day per craw
  20. Might pick up a few things. The H20 rods are on sale and I've been wanting one. Might pick up a few other things.
  21. Looking to get one for my main jig setup. Which one would be better for just casting and occasionally flipping ? i dont have a boat so i wont do heavy duty flipping.
  22. this lake is never clear, always stained or muddy.
  23. you guys use a leader when using braid for your jig rods? i got a spare rod i wanna throw some 50lb braid on it for when summer hits my local lake gets hit with heavy weeds. figured it would help my chances if the fish dont see the braid.
