I honestly wouldnt drop the extra $100 when the *** is available at that price. I have talked to guys that have both and its not a $100 difference.

I have a 7' m/h fast spinning and a 7'3" med fast casting. These rods are some of the best, no matter the price point. Well balanced, great craftmanship, nice looking, super sensitivity, and superior customer service. If your looking for a $100 rod, skip the veriras, this is the one to buy. I have 15 rods, all different price points, including a veritas and a custom from JB, and these are the best.

I scored 2 at $17$ each 2 weeks ago, try ebay and be patient. Just looked and there are a couple buy it nows at $23 each including shipping. The auctions are the way to go, sniping at the last second gives great deals once in a while.

I have a veritas, and for almost the same money I recommend the *** black. A far superior rod in every aspect.

There are times, many of them, where you do have to give in to make her happy, choose your battles, and always remember that you will doubtlessly go thru many cars and material possessions, but hopefully have lasting personal relationships, that are always worth more than a car. I've had many a stone pass, and can honestly say the feeling of sheer excrutiating pain while you pee, then having absolutely no pain when the stone comes out midstream, is like a high you can never chase.

Unless its pure cranberry juice stay away, the sugar added to the regular stuff can contribute to your stones. Google the jump method, it has worked for me many times now.
