Cabelas Just Pushed Bps In The Mud An Stole His Girlfriend.
Second one looks like an aird copy, not a lexa to me. First one looks good to me, but the spool looks kinda deep, but I only looked at pictures because I'm on my phone

Revo Sx Gen3
I do love my gen 3 sx I traded for here on the forums about 6-7 months ago. My spool tension got tight enough, but I'm not complaining because I run mine just enough to eliminate spool play from side to side. As to casting lighter lures vs the s, I can cast a weightless fluke quite a distance with 10# Abrazx on. The distance rivaled my 50e at the time, but the sx was more comfortable, so I sold the 50, which is a great little reel, so that should tell you something

Curado 50E Noise
Rock, I have already taken the ar pawl out when I first purchased the reel. If you want to put it back in, it is in the box with in one of the little baggies. As far as the noise goes, I am not sure what it is, as the last time I used the reel is wasn't making the noise, and it hasn't seen any action for quite some time. If it is anything major, let me know and I would be happy to reimburse you for any parts or work that needs to be done.

Abu Garcia "ike Series Rods"
It was a decent performing rod, especially for the price point. I did like how they put SiC guides on, but I HATE those types of "open full blank" reel seats with a passion, along with EVA foam, just dont like the components. I feel like Abu is trying to hard in the looks department, along with many other brands, trying to be "JDM" Ill stick with my reserved styling Powells, that perform twice as well for only 40 more bones.

Abu Garcia "ike Series Rods"
Get excited to have to pay the premium for having a name on a rod. If its anything like Abu's other rods, performance will be decent, but components will be extra BLEHK for me, especially the looks. Yuk purple and gold it looks like

Biodegradable Line?
Hmm. Using a biodegradable line in the sun and water year round... GOOD IDEA EAGLE CLAW. Also, it probably snapped because its eagle claw. Their stuff isnt that great, and their lines are horrid. If you want to try a good 100% fluoro at a good price look at Seaguar

Shimano Spools: Magnumlite, A7075, Duralumin. All The Same?
As far as they go, they are all different. Like said above they all have different attributes. And yes, lighter generally means its easier to cast lighter baits. I know from playing lacrosse and in the industry, 7075 aluminum is pretty standard, mid grade stuff (as far as lacrosse shafts go) There were other blends, some named, some not, but im surprised that with marketing of spools we dont see more descriptive terms instead of just names. For instance, if the shaft was a Scandium blend, it would be marketed as so, titanium blend, etc. It gives you a generally basic idea of weight, because if they're all built to the same strength, then the stronger alloy they use less of, making it lighter weight.

Would A Medium Power Fast Action Rod Be Good For Squarebills?
I'll take a shorter rod about 6'8" to 6'10" a true MH with a F/XF action. I want to get those thick trebles hooked in nicely, then play the fish slowly, but I still have a lot of power to direct them from cover. JMHO.

Yozuri Flurocarbon Copolymere Line??
Its a blend of fluoro and nylon, similar to a copolymer. However it is not to be confused with coated lines ala P-line

Any Mechanics Here?
Thanks for all the advice guys. I think I'll definitely switch to that next semester, get my ASE certs and then try and find a job in my town. There are quite a few automotive places around here, both big and small. The only downside us there are no spring classes on summer and fall, so I would have to take a semester off, or waste more money on classes that I won't need because the only prerequisite is English 112 which I'm taking now.

Spool Shaft
I believe that alot of Daiwa models use a free floating spool shaft, aka, its a two piece shaft. That grinding noise is just the pinion gear re-engaging the spool. By reading your problem, I would venture to say your issue is a very simple one. Inside the spool tension knob there is a washer (sometimes carbon fiber, other materials, etc) If there is a dimple in it, that would be your problem. Just taking it out and flipping it over will solve your problem. Add a drop of oil if its dry and you should be good to go.

Any Mechanics Here?
Anyone here an auto-mechanic for a living? Right now im in comm college getting a business administration/management degree because I thought I just wanted money, but in reality I hate desk jobs, I dont really want to do any of that stuff. I was thinking of dropping that degree next semester and getting a technical career certification in auto mechanics to be a mechanic. I've loved cars my whole life but never got really into them and working on them until I got an 06 Mazda 3S for my graduation present from my grandparents. I'm generally good with my hands and can generally figure out problems with it. For instance, about a month ago when my car was in neutral (stick shift) like coasting to a red light or just having it neutral in general, the rpms on the car would bobble from 750 (Standard) down to around 500 and back up and after a couple times of that the rpms would dip too low and the car would stall. (which really sucked when you hit redlights and have to heel-toe the gas and brake so it doesnt stall out.) So anyways I figure it has to do something with the car not getting enough air, causing unstable rpms. So I check the air filter, looks great, then I look into the throttle body and lets just say carbon build up everywhere. So I got some Throttle Body Cleaner and MAF Sensor cleaner and give the TB a good scrub, and clean off the MAF. Voila, everything is perfect again. My local Comm. College offers classes for auto mechanics, auto diagnostics, etc and was thinking about taking those and getting a certificate and being ASE certified. I also think that it is a relatively safe job because well, I dont see cars going away anytime soon, as long as you stay up on the current technology. My question is, will these classes be fine or do I have to go to one of those big car schools you always see on TV? What is your normal day on the job like? I would guess that you do alot of routine maintenance with some other bigger stuff. I know pay isnt exactly great from what i've seen from averages, but I would rather take a pay cut and do something I like. Any advice guys?

Tips For Quitting Smoking.
My go to flavors are mostly fruity. Right now my everyday vape is Raspberry (simple flavor), however I like to mix it up with some Monster flavored stuff, RY4 tobacco, Pink lemonade menthol. I mostly buy my juices from mtbakervapor.com, however iVape.net has some great houseblends that are fantastic. There tropic punch is really good and kinda has a taste of malibu in there. When I went to Myrtle Beach I went to their shop to buy for the first time and everything is nice. My most used vape is a eGo c-twist with an iVape knock off of a vivi nova. Very enjoyable smooth vape.

Tips For Quitting Smoking.
I'd say it comes down to getting rid of a nicotine addiction, or quitting smoking for lung health, and substituting smoking with another carrier of nicotine. If you want to get rid of nicotine addiction, listen to others. If you want to substitute it, definitely try an e-cigarette, or something along those lines.

Knife For Everyday Carry
Sog Vulcan Tanto is my EDC, I really like it for the tanto section which is nice when I have to score(sp?) anything, but yet the length of the blade has some belly to it, so it's still an extremely efficient slicer. Also, I like that it doesnt have the assisted opening on it. But hell, its so smooth just a flick on the stud will open it and lock it. However, they are pretty pricey at around 100 on auction sites for the full size, a little cheaper for the mini version. The steel is also top notch, It actually has a slightly softer steel sandwhiched between to very hard steels so it will get extremely sharp, yet hold it and still be very durable. Have been EDCing it for a year now and havent had to resharpen but once. Before that though, my EDC was a SOG Flash II Tanto blade. I liked it alot, but the blade on the vulcan is just really versatile.

Tips For Quitting Smoking.
Try looking into snus (pronounced snoos) Instead of being fire-cured like dip, its pasteurized which has been proven to contain less carcinogens than dip. On the plus side too, no spitting necessary. You can swallow all of the juices and feel fine, minus the tickle from the nicotine. Camel snus is pretty much regularly available, So I would recommend that. Some other places have skoal brand, or marlboro brand.

Tips For Quitting Smoking.
Caylub, If you want to try an e-cig let me know. I actually vape all the time because I like nicotine lol and its relatively safe. If you want I can point you out to some websites that sell fantastic beginner kits for 15$ with everything you need besides E-cig juice (because of personal preference.) And hell, If you get into it, I can help you with some mods and other cool stuff. It became sorta like a hobby for me doing mods and getting the best vapor, throat hit, etc. PM me if you want any help e-cig wise.

Whats The Best 12Lbs Fluorocarbon ?
I would say Tatsu. I got a sample spool a while back and its quite literally the best of both worlds of Invizx and Abrazx. Super limp and manageable, but strong and abrasion resistant as any. FWIW, TW also has Tatsu on sale right now in 200 yd spools, not sure why though?
