Nice fish. what were the water temps at pickwick then. im hoping they will be low low 80's when we get there on wednesday. I'm so ready to get back up there. hope we get into the smallmouth like we did last time!!!!!

im planning on being there on wednesday.. havent been since late may early june so im excited!! The fishing was great before it got so hot. I'm hoping its back on again!

i've read up on them. just waiting on them to be released. cabelas is the only place i have seen that actually has them for sale but it's listed as backordered. I emailed *** and i believe they said it would be late september. but im curious about them also....

of course you send them back. If they were nice enough to replace a product even though it wasnt their fault. maybe im reading it wrong but please tell me u arent considering cheating them out of a box of crankbaits??? my conscience wouldnt allow me to do it!!.... so i would send them back... only way i would keep them would be if i talked to them and they said for me to keep them!! then i would be like ;D

1. north mississippi 2. less dinks alot of 2-4 lb bass all year long. I would say number of bass havent changed that much... however they seem to be alot healthier than normal. 3. 2010 has been a great year up intil the last month.. The heat has been very hard on the fishing. The higher the temp, the fewer the numbers of bass we catch.

ahh never said anything was wrong with it. just thought it was funny that the pictures for the gander mountain reels actually said quantam on them!

don't think i could add any insight to the thread. but gotta say nice fish!!!

2nd vote for southwesternparts.com got all my parts in about a week and a half for my revo.

if thats not the right one let me know. and ill see if i can locate the right one for you. may need to know what year and stuff.

not sure if this will help or not try it out though.

i have been having problems with the braid slipping through the eye of the hook and losing fish. just seen this type of knot the other night and i think this will cure that problem just from the way it anchors to the hook :>

jez im long winded tonight one more thing you might try to rule out. if your unsure its the pawl you can shim it and see if it corrects your problem. ive done it a couple times just to be able to fish while parts are on order. really simple just take some aluminum foil and use as a space so the pawl will stick up a little farther. this is just a temp fix to try and get you threw the day or to see if thats the only problem you are having.

good advice ksbasser i didnt think that far into it . and as far as the part number on the AR bearing i did order the whole side plate from southwesternparts.com. took about 2 weeks after the order and it was at my door. i have to recommend them since i got it so fast. part number is 1125826. i believe it was 22 dollars for the side plate. the bearing itself is 11 or 12 i believe and then u have to get it out. was just easier for me to pay 10 bucks more. shipping is kinda steep. believe it was 12 dollars. but i had alot of stuff to order so it wasnt that bad. there website took me a minute to figure out so ill help you a little. if you decide to order from them just go to their site and under reel parts choose abu garcia. the next page will be a search dont put a year just under model type revo and you can order from those that are listed. believe it shows 07 but my side plate was for a newer one i believe but worked just fine. once you get the schematic pulled up click order parts find the part number you want and type it in where it says part no. and hit enter and it will show the part and a description then just hit add part once done hit finish and you can pay it. sorry so long but took me a while to figure it all out so i thought i could save you some time and frustration!

my gf is the same way. always asking when we are going next. and yes it gets expensive cause she says she needs more than one rod and reel so she doesnt have to keep re rigging. tried buying a zebco 33 but she busted three of them catching bass. then had to get her an 808 for catfishing. now we have went to spinning reels for her to use. weird thing is she wants to learn to use a baitcaster now. will it never end

when the fishing is slow my cousin usually take his cigarette and burns your line when your not looking. usually takes a couple pulls before you catch on what has happened. this favor is returnable lol

thanks for posting the link. like many others i was taught to cut the line and it would rust out. hey learn something new everday. ill be giving this a try the next time im out there.
