Choosing New Line
There you have it. Somebody says mono, another flouro, or braid, or co-poly. That pretty much covers all the bases. Glad we could be of service.

whats your favorite rig and hook size for ...
A 4" hula grub needs a hook a lot smaller than 3/0. I'd suggest an Owner Rig-N hook; 1/0 size for t-rigging.

Lucky me
I remember my last trip to Mickey World, about three years ago. My wife decided that our one year old grandson really needed to see the place. We were there for five days. I fished with Fishin Daddy one day. ( thanks again Lee. I hope we can do it again). Fished with George Welcome two days on Stick Marsh. ( I will be doing that again) Fished one day on one of the Disney ponds, and went to Sea World one day. Great trip. Maybe you can do something similar.

ever dipped a jig in JJ's?
No apology necessary. It's funny now. It was NOT funny in the middle of last summer.

Instructions posted at the golf course
1. Take a loose stance, feet at shoulder width, knees slightly bent. 2. Relax your grip. Nothing good will occur when using too firm a grip. 3. Don't take a quick back swing. 4. Do not look around or behind you. Head down; eyes on the target. 5. If someone else has stepped up, do not stand in front of them. 6. If your taking too long, please allow others to "play through". 7. Before proceeding to the first tee, please flush the urinal. THANK YOU

AVS68MXF guides?
That is odd. I have two of those, and don't remember noticing anything different about the guides or spacing. But, I don't use them. Don't like "em, so I gave them to my wife. She likes "em just fine. I'll look at them when I get home, take some measurements, and get back to you.

ever dipped a jig in JJ's?
Only did it once. Put the jig back in the box; the box back in the tackle bag; and the bag back in the Jeep. Did you know that those plano 3700 boxes don't close up really tight?

1/2 white1/2 sliver tube, how to rig on jig?
I'd be inclined to rig it white on bottom when t-rigging, and white on the side with an inside jighead. Give "em two colors while the tube spirals down. Might look more like a dying baitfish rigged "sideways".

worms
Can you still buy those? I've used those, and done well doing so. But, it's been a long time since I've either had any, or seen any.

worms
I've been cleaning out and re-arranging my plastics bags. I use BPS double sided binder bags for plastics, and have one I've used for several years just for worms. It got slowly taken over by big worms; to the point that most of the smaller worms did not get replaced as they were used up. This year I bought a larger double binder just for big worms, and now my smaller worm bag is better than half empty. It's time to restock. I still have plenty of straight worms, trick worms, t-mac worms, kut-tails, etc. I need some curl-tail worms. Nothing really large; something in the 6 - 8 inch range. What are some of your favorites?

Road Trip Survey #3
Man, I would love to, but we have to leave Tuesday morning. Hopefully, next time.

Round reels
I still use the reel the Luna replaced; the Millionaire. I have two CV-X 103A's and a 253. The 103's are on my crankbait rods and the 253 is on my swimbait rod. I've tuned them up a bit; adding bearings, polished internals and TD-Z handles. The 103's are nice little round reels. The 253 is a tank.

Round reels
He's not kidding, either. I've seen him locked in battle with a ten ton boulder on the river, and it ain't a pretty sight. ;D ;D ;D

Another RoadTrip survey
I do not wish to be a party to anything illegal. I'm fairly sure it is against the law to play a cello in Kentucky. But, you haven't lived until you've heard Long Mike recite Provencal poetry wearing his Iranian war helmet.

Negative Ion Bracelets?
I mentioned to my wife the other day that I had recently lost a few electrons. Are you sure, she asked. I'm positive, I replied.

HAVOC BAITS!!!!
Clearly, something about that bait, (not the Ike name), got your attention. What prompted you buy them if you care to share ? You have to see the tail in the water. It has a very nice rippling action while moving; both horizontally and vertically. Not a wild rage tail type action; it is more subtle. It just looked very effective to me.

another shipping comment; not a rant
GMAN, you gonna bring some of those jigs RW has been braggin about?

HAVOC BAITS!!!!
I was standing next to Ike while Ish Monroe tried out the spear for the first time, in the pool at the Nashville Radisson. It took all of one cast for me to say I gotta get me some of these. Went to BPS in St Charles for their spring wing-ding. They had no Havoc baits at all. Drove over to Cabelas. They had some. I bought all the spears they had. Haven't used them yet. My work schedule is nuts right now, and the weather is not cooperating. Next week I will get out, and these are probably the first bait I'll throw.
