Great post. I go through phases. Right now, it's jigs and soft plastics. I feel real good about it though, because over the Fall and Winter, it was G Loomis rods,......whew!!....glad that phase is over. Uh, I think it's over. Hootie

No, I couldn't give technical reasons. I guess my opinion is based strictly on genetics. The old Lews reels were great. So, when I saw the new ones, I just had to take a chance. So far, so good. I have not been disappointed, and now, don't expect I will be. Hootie

I have 6 Lews Tournament series reels. Been using them about a year and a half. They are AWESOME!! Class Dismissed! Hootie

Very perceptive. No, don't drink, don't smoke, {anything}, and don't do drugs. I'm a clean machine. And I find, that annoys the crap out of a lot of people. However, when it comes to buying fishing tackle, I am hopelessly addicted....lol Hootie P.S. Drinking isn't mandatory for survival, at least for me.
