  1. Yep, Junebug has been my go to color for years especially on Okeechobee which I fish more than any other lake. Anything with a little red is a distant second. Mike

  14. I don't know.. Seems more like another gimmick lure we hear about every few years. They may have their niche but it doesn't take long to tie something else on if I wanted to experiment and junk fish for an afternoon. Just not for me Mike

  18. When useing frogs or any type of plastic for that matter around cypress trees, stay in and around the truck as far as the canopy expands. The knees usually extend out about 5-8 ft. However, There are no rules that say frogs only work in the morning, in the shade, on flat water, in and around certain types of vegetation or when the sun rises above the trees etc. There have been times when I wouldn't put it down all day, or switch to it in open water with submerged grass in the middle of the day. I did, but it seemed the standard size always worked better for me, but hardly use either of them anymore. Mike
  20. Happens more than anyone knows Mike
  21. I Agree And think that would need to be part of the criteria. Mike
  22. Absolutely do it! And you are exactly correct. I've had every pro I've fished with welcome me aboard and none have even given me the slightest impression that I've impeded thier ability to compete or put them at a disadvantage. I also know there are pro's who welcome the change for those very reasons and others who are in different, and some who disagree with the decision. For those of you who think that having a co angler with the pro's somehow diminishes the competitiveness and effect the outcomes, yes it could happen I guess but in my experience it isn't as prevelant as some suggest. Mike
