  9. Mrs Mike went shopping and the house is quiet and it got me thinking. What gives you the most Peace where your mind goes blank and you just get lost? Some may say sitting in a boat at dawn and watching the fog lift... Or, Sitting on the bank of a mountain creek watching an Eagle... Me, laying on the couch with my grand baby laying high on my chest matching breath for breath, and feeling her heart beat on top of mine. Guarantee that for the rest of my life and I'll give you everything I own. Mike
  10. Great News!! Mike
  11. Todd I couldn't care less what other people think I'm doing. You caught fish swinging didn't you? Other than throwing a moving trebled hard bait how else are you to know.? I fish in, through and around grass all the time. Matter of fact I'd like to fish around rock once in a while. Keep doing what you're doing. It works. Mike
  12. Other than the 13's, spoons and Crete worms, I own and use them all when the times right. Mike
  13. For bass, bobbers are helpful when fishing with live bait. But for artificial I see no advantage to useing them, and for certain lures it makes no sense. Mike
  14. Excellent reminder, especially about the guides which are easy to overlook. Mike

  16. I know the difference, but it seems to me the action of the plastic being dragged would be no different than with any other type of weight used. T rigged or even Carolina rigged. Mike
  17. I use Flouro for everything except punching and frogs, Love the stuff and only use a SDJ knot and never had a problem. Only use mono to hang pictures on a wall Mike
  18. Robert Alfano Don Hatcher Larry Wright Buck Durrance Sandy Melvin Fished in tournaments with all of them Also, a friend just used Tom Mann Jr and was satisfied Mike

  20. It's early so my brain isn't in gear yet, but what advantage is there to useing a wobble head as a moving bait such as a crank?? Seems to me it would be the same effect as swimming the same plastic t rigged with a pegged weight. If the entire bait itself is moving up and down as opposed to just the appendages of a creature bait I get it, but since it's moving in a straight line I don't see it. Thanks Mike
  21. Guides are placed where they are for a reason. They were designed to maximize the effectiveness of the rod. Replace it with the same size in the same spot. Mike
  22. There is no doubt that plastics of all kinds, if used the way they were intended, have caught more bass than any other lure ever created. Mike
  23. I pray he'll have a complete recovery. Mike
  24. Frogs Cranks would be way down the list Mike
