  3. When i fish for crappie, i prefer an ultra lite just because the fish fight harder. as for the browning reel, they are great for beginners. bait selection is fairly easy, for crappie small minnows are hard to beat, but small 1/16oz jigs are also good. here in southern Kentucky, we don't have perch so i cant really help you out on that.
  4. The green pumpkin blue fleck crazy-legs chigger craw got me third place in a tournament on Saturday.
  5. I read about these in an old bassmaster the other day, they look interesting. Just curious to know if anyone has tried them.
  6. they look good in the water, but when you reel them they twist, and run upside down. don't waste your money.
  7. Thank you guys for all of your suggestions, i really appreciate it!
  8. Spot remover's are ok, but i prefer the sneed shaky head, they have mustad hooks in them, they stand up straight, and they have a higher hookup percentage. The website is www.sneedproducts.com.
  9. OH, I'm not a fish anatomy expert, so i just figured that they were digesting it, but none of them have died from it.
  10. I always here people say that small fish cant digest corn, that is actually not true, i fish in a small creek near my house and usually chum with corn. i have caught numerous creek chubs and striped shiners and many times when i am unhooking them, they poop corn all over my hand. >
  11. I used to have a tru-tungsten, but when i went to cast it the first hinge-pin fell out and, now i only have the head. >
  12. find a cow/horse pasture and flip over the dried 'piles' (poop) and they should appear just like magic!, or just find some moist ground and flip over rocks or pieces of tree bark, hope this helps.
  13. HOLY CRAP!!!!, i gotta get some of those frogs! ;D
  14. chum with whole kernel corn, and with a small barbless hook with 2-3 pieces of the same corn cast out and wait. (if you can't find barbless hooks then just mash the barb down with a pair of pliers)
  15. I already own a magic swimmer, ultimate bluegill, black dog mini shellcracker, and 2 osprey tournament talons.
  16. I am just starting to get into swimbaits, so witch swimbaits do you consider essential? (4-6 inches in length)
  17. I was looking around on BTD the other day and found these, they are a walk-the-dog style bait that makes a very unique 'Boing' sound hence the name. Anyone use these, if so are they worth 30 bucks?
  18. as bass-rat said chum with a hand full of canned whole-kernel corn, and using a small barbless hook with 2 or 3 pieces of the same corn cast out and wait. Or, you could take a bow and stick an arrow through that big ole' thing. ;D
  19. blakemore road runner's
  20. I was looking at TW and found these baits, anyone else tried them?, what do you think?, are they worth it? :-?
  21. YES!, i have caught 8in bass on a 12in worm, and fish half the size of my swimbait.
  22. yes, i love them. they are great swimbaits buy a pack and if you like them great, if you don't, no harm no foul.
  23. I recently purchased 2 osprey in-line tournament talons, i fished with them for the first time the other day, and when i reel the baits at a faster speed the baits twist and spin. how can i solve this problem? :-?
