  1. I just started fishing swimbaits, and need some help with a rod!! i mostly fish smaller swimbaits(6in max), but some of them get pretty heavy and the only other rod that could handle it is my flippin' stick, and i don't want to waste time switching baits. does any one have any suggestions?
  2. it could just be an old 600 that someone re-painted.
  3. You might be able to if you took the worm gear out, slid out the twitch'n bar , and put the gear back in................i'll tell you what, i wouldnt take that risk!!!!!!!!
  4. i'm just starting to fish swimbaits, and i have one question, is a 6in swimbait to big for a small fish (1-2 lbs)?
  5. I've never fished with one but held one a a local trade show and they are awesome. they are comfortable, sensitive, and everything you would want in a rod, and the Winn grips are great, I'd buy one if you can
  6. Anyone use the 'Triton' Mike Bucca bull shad swimbait, if you have is it worth the money?

  9. In my opinion, the greatest all purpose flippin'/pitchin' rod is the powell 765.
  10. one time, i was in a hurry and so i cut off one of my treble hooks, left it laying in the floor ,and never thought about it....until my mom stepped on it!! her and dad went to the emergency room and didn't come back until 11:00 p.m, i felt so bad.

  13. i have a small creek near my house and i catch alot of carp from it, but the only bait i ever use is canned corn, does anyone have any more suggestions

  16. me, my dad, and his friend fished dale hallow on new years day, and blanked we threw float n fly, silver buddies, whirly bee's, and drop shots. i only got one pull down on the fnf. can any one make any suggestions on what to try next time?

  18. they dont have alot of action, but they catch BIG fish plus they are really durable due to the 3x material.
  19. when i get the money I'm going to buy a pack of tro-kar flippin' hooks, so if any of you guys have ever used the hooks let me know what you think.
  20. strike king rage tail shad, in smokey shad color.
  21. dale hollow currently holds the record, but Kentucky lake has a large population of trophy sized smalljaws.
  22. I'm looking for a good beginner float n fly rod (preferably fifty dollars or less) if you have any suggestions help me out.
